I hope you will reconsider. If you truly love your wife, why would you wnat to cheat on her? If you really love your family, there is nothing worse you can do than to cheat with another man or woman? You can have you cake until your lies and deceit are discovered. Is it worth the risks? Will anyone in your family EVER trust you again?
 
It is a problem. I have been doing it for the last ten years. I believe having sex with another woman would be cheating on my wife. Having sex with another man is just male bonding.

It's still cheating. Unless you and your wife have a mutual understanding, it's cheating. If not, why not tell her about how you bond with men and see if she's okay with it?

PALINDROMOS, you have put down the options available quite correctly. Fidelity in any relationship IMHO is vital or the relationship is headed for bad times.

Again, IMHO, it is probably best to keep the true nature of one's sexuality, to the extent that one can be sure of that, to oneself. There is an aura of mystery that ought to surround the other in any sexual relationship. Sex is personal and it is private and, IMHO, those men and women who keep it that way are being wise.

There is, of course, one's imagination and fantasy life. I suppose that's what the honorable man will resort to if he truly values the relationship he happens to be in. One assumes that one's partner is similarly free. Human sexuality is so diverse that no one arrangement will suit all persons.

My own approach was to concentrate on the relationship; I have always found that one partner at a time is enough. I have always been grateful that I have had the experience of relating to another man fully, faithfully, and that includes sexually. I suspect I always knew that would not be the dominant side of my sexuality, but while I was in a relationship with a man he was always enough for me; he knew it and so did I.

It is the quality of the relationship rather than the gender of the partner that ought to command one's devotion. And having sexual relationship with anyone and wishing that one was with another person is hardly the way to go.
 
I struggle with the same thing but would never cheat. Jerking to my fantasies is what I'm stuck with I guess.
