Background:

Met this guy (initially for sex) but weve slowly become good friends. To the point where it could be heading to a relationship. We meet regularly, have been out to a few places, have stayed in and sort of had a bit of the moving forward from the friends with benefits stage.

Random question:

While I was at his place I was picking out a movie and he went to the bathroom. While in the bathroom he turned on the tap to maximum while he went to take a deuce. Im pretty sure it was to cover up the sound, my question is why?

Does it show a lack of comfort? Something else? or am I thinking into it too much?

Any opinions greatly appreciated!

He was being polite. Apparently you're not at the stage where you can say things like,

"I think I hear your mother calling."

"Is an elephant dying in there?"

"Jesus Christ! What did you eat?"

"A couple more like that and you are going to need a plastic insert."

"Do you want me to open a window? The paint is changing color in here. "

It took me a little while before I was comfortable enough to do that while I was at my bf's house. It's more than likely something he would do with anyone he was only seeing for a little while.

It's not about you. I wouldn't worry about it.

He was just being polite and/or needing some private time. Yeah, I'm afraid you're thinking about it a tad too much. ;)

yeh i thought i was thinking about it too much. (There i go thinking too much again)

Tonssss of people do this. You're def not the first I've heard this from.

Don't even worry about it.

This.

Next time you're together, just let one rip.

And tell him 'better out than in'
