Being gay is not a choice, it's what some people are.

Believing that being gay is a sin is essentially the same as believing that being black is a sin.

Taking everything she's said as a whole it doesn't seem she's hostile to gays, but Jennifer Hudson might want to call the Donna Summer Hotline before she damages her own career.

Is it homophobic to think homosexual behavior is a sin? I think homosexual behavior a sin, at least by the rules of most of the major religions. But then so is fornication(male/female missionary style or otherwise). I'm not sure whether I believe in any religion, but sin is religious term in the first place, and has to be defined by the religion itself, there is no religion-neutral meaning to the idea. IMO, it's a bit silly to call anyone, who thinks homosexual behavior is sinful, a homophobe. People don't have to agree with certain kinds of behavior to be tolerant of it. Now if she was just saying simply being gay is a sin, then that's a bit different, since being gay doesn't involve any sort of action, but I doubt she believes that.
