It’s a measure of the Manchester International Festival’s success in loosening London’s theoretically vice-like grip over the nation’s cultural calendar that Björk’s Biophilia is making its debut in the capital more than two years after premiering in the North West.
But those lucky enough to have tickets for the maverick Icelander’s hi-tech twist on a primary school show-and-tell may find that the long wait has rendered it more of a revelation rather than less.

Singer's first album in four years features production from Arca and the Haxan Cloak
Björk will release her first album in four years this March when the Icelandic singer unveils her Vulnicura. The Homogenic singer made the new album announcement in a handwritten note that she posted on her social media. The LP is her first since her 2011 Grammy-nominated Biophilia.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I am very proud to announce my new album is coming out in March. It is called: Vulnicura," she wrote. The singer also listed Vulnicura's song titles: "Stonemilker", "Lionsong", "History of Touches", "Black Lake", "Family", "Notget", "Atom Dance", "Mouth Mantra", and "Quicksand".

"Army of Me" is probably the best song she's done. I love the video too, as strange as it is, but Björk's never been known to have average songs or music videos, she's one of a kind.

Bjork has a lot of great stuff. But for me, Vespertine was her creative peak. Prior to Vespertine, she was still a bit of an anomaly. Verpertine made her an institution. In my opinion, it really elevated her music on an emotional level, and is still her most personal record.
My favorite song is probably Undo. Cocoon is also one of my favorites.
