Have you tasted an olive just picked from the tree? I bet they just taste like grass.

They need to be soaked and pickled in very salty water to make them palatable. Anyway, I eat them in salads to stop me from eating fatty cheese.

Black olives are not very nice. Dry, hard & bitter.
If you want something really delectable, you need to get Kalamata olives.
Lots of people think any olives that are not green are all one and the same.
I could eat a whole tin of Kalamatas in one go!
