The man is so obviously a criminal. He wouldn't even testify in his own defense after making a huge, public display promising everyone he was going to get up on that stand and preach the truth! :lol:

His megalomaniac behavior parallels the charges the federal prosecutors argued in court. Where does anyone see the innocence in this man?

An accused is entitled to not take the stand in his own defence and in 99.9% of cases, and the jury is prohibited from drawing any adverse inferences by reason of that choice. There are exceptions (as there always are in law) but they don't apply here.

And really, it's never whether anyone sees innocence in him, it's whether a properly constituted jury of his peers finds him guilty. Trial by public opinion is unfortunately not available. Hehe.

Interested to see if the prosecutor will take a second shot - and if so how do you ensure a fair trial when practically everyone in the State of Illinois would by now be aware of the trial and the outcome?

Blago tried to get it moved before, but the judge refused since he went on a PR campaign prior to the trial. If jurors are biased, its no one's fault but Blago's. (and the judge said as much)

I told you the Northern Illinois US District Court was a shit pile. Don't blame me, blame the asshat James Holderman. He loves decisions that tie up cases for years, that generate millions upon millions of $$$ for Chicago lawyers. Chicago lawyers love to hate him.
