I think is that many people don't like the whole gay-4-pay and having a openly gay porn star is sort of a good thing...

also, Blake once said in a behind of scenes interview that he used to be a cheerleader... if you think that is relevant (!)

I was reading some blog and stuff, and apparently all the hype about his latest bi film with Chi Chi and his ill-timed comments have caused such a rage that some say that his porn career is over.

Oh, please.

He starred in bi flick called "Shifting Gears" where he has sex with a girl.

Along with other 'straight-for-pay' actors like Cameron Marshall and Johnny Hazzard.

Apparently some obnoxious queens got "upset" that Blake "went to the other team" or "lied" about being gay. Some say he's actually straight or bisexual. Others say the movie was 'homophobic' because it somehow implied that gay men can change via the magic of porn star pussy.

But they're so damn stupid to realize that it was all a big marketing scam concocted by Chi Chi Larue to get the movie some press to boost sales.

I don't know why so many people got upset. How many gay for pay actors do we have? If Blake is gay, and did a porno scene with a woman (thus being straight-for-pay) do we really care? It's a job.....

Johnny Hazzard didn't have sex with a girl and Cameron Marshell is Bi at the most, and from what I heard Chi Chi's stupid marketing ploy failed miserably.

Given the controversy and the poor way he has responded to it, I believe his days as a specifically "gay" porn actor are over. Like it or not, fair or unfair, in the eyes of a significant number of gay viewers he has simply lost his appeal. However, considering his name is now synonymous with the "straight for pay" trend, I suspect he'll be making more bi movies. I wouldn't even remotely be surprised if we also see him fulfilling that strap-on fantasy he spoke about on Randy Blue.

Seriously, it's scripted. "I fucked a girl and I liked it?" It's all scripted things he was told to say whether he feels that way or not.

It's part of the marketing ploy.

I don't think Blake Riley has to be forgiven for anything.

His job is to be a porn actor. Emphasis on ACTOR.

I've read the comments on the thread and I found them to both hysterical and incredibly sad.

These are obviously people who have serious issues with what being gay means. We call them militant gays. To equate Blake Riley doing a bi-movie to a gay man supporting Proposition 8 is ridiculous. Some of them are even saying that Blake Riley is somehow against gay rights and setting gay rights back a century. Ugh!

I think some of them simply do not understand what pornography is nor the functions of the actor particularly in highly dramatized movies that Chi Chi Larue produces.

Blake Riley is a porn ACTOR who ACTED as a bisexual car repairman having sex with both genders. End of story.

Pornography is fantasy. Nothing more than constructed and choreographed clips of persons having sex.

It saddens me that people got so uppity and stupid about it.

Very true through, I don't know why people are that surprised that a porn performer who built his career in large part on being a gold star gay would lose fans by going straight for pay.

At the end of the day Blake himself knows his own sexuality and shouldn't have to defend it to anyone. There is actually a difference between what a performer does onscreen and what they do offscreen.

I've been a fan of Blake for quite a while and the fact that he's had sex with a woman onscreen doesn't mean I think any less of him. I have no desire to see this film but I don't think it marks the end of his career in gay porn.

I know I'm late to the party and probably don't understand the back story, but what's the big deal? If guys get all hot and bothered by straight guys who perform "gay for pay" (and on this site the popularity of Cody Cummings is proof they do), then why the condemnation when a gay "star" does a bisexual scene? Hypocritical, much?


And, for the record, I absolutely hate these automatic links! Fucking things!
