I think is that many people don't like the whole gay-4-pay and having a openly gay porn star is sort of a good thing...I think you can self-identify as gay and still be curious or want to fuck a woman. Why are people so hung up on labels?

link please?
Cameron is definitely bi. He currently self-identifies as gay because he's dating guys, but he was interviewed in a recent Gay Times Magazine article on "straight for pay" actors, and he said he used to date girls and might go back to dating them again one day. Anyone who can jump back and forth between genders so easily is clearly bi, as far as I'm concerned.
Over? No. Changed? Yes.
Given the controversy and the poor way he has responded to it, I believe his days as a specifically "gay" porn actor are over. Like it or not, fair or unfair, in the eyes of a significant number of gay viewers he has simply lost his appeal. However, considering his name is now synonymous with the "straight for pay" trend, I suspect he'll be making more bi movies. I wouldn't even remotely be surprised if we also see him fulfilling that strap-on fantasy he spoke about on Randy Blue.
Perhaps lugus15 is referring to this thread.
First, his roommate Josh Griffin said he's angry at his fans for being angry at him. Secondly, he's made several statements that have thrown his sexuality into question, specifically:
“I fucked a girl and I liked it.”
“I was hard as a rock the entire time.”
“I’ve kissed girls and probably will again.”
“My ultimate fantasy is to have a gorgeous, beautiful girl fuck me with a strap-on.”
He's also stated he'd be open to doing another bi movie because, "Hey, it's money."

I don't think that his career has been irrevocably damaged at all, but if the reports of his Yahoo fan group going from busy to a ghost ship.
Anyone in the industry knows that fans can take porn VERY seriously and I'll defend them on that.
Fans get VERY weird about their porn and they're allowed to.
They're the ones buying it, paying for it and supporting the careers of their favorite performers. Just like how Moby's fans revolted when he did a punk rock album or Britney's fans would revolt if she did a country album, fans of Blake Riley are allowed to get turned off when he does a movie that turns them off.
Although I do think a few of those arguments are a bit of a stretch, I can see a few more points than you can.
