Bleeding after Anal

Hey, guys. I'm not sure exactly where I should post this. Anyway, I had a hookup yesterday, and it was a lot of fun. I bottomed. A few hours later, there was no problem with blood after using the bathroom. Then, I had another hookup that night (I know, slutty day). No anal the second time, but I did wear a cock ring. This morning, after using the bathroom, there was a lot of blood in the bowl and on the toilet paper. Anyone know what could have caused the bleeding? I just find it strange that it didn't happen the very first time I used the bathroom after anal. Could the cock ring have had something to do with it?

if it's bright red, it could be a hernia (which can be treated with OTC stuff and should go away, though obviously call a doctor if it's bothering you)

if it's dark red blood, it could indicate internal bleeding somewhere, in which case call a doctor/go to the hospital.

(there are also some foods that can cause red shit... beets come to mind. happened to me once after eating red velvet cake (that used beets for food coloring) and it sent me into a minor panic)

You can not treat a hernia with OTC stuff, that is IMPOSSIBLE. A hernia is only treated by a surgical repair. they make a jock strap supporter but that is only a temp thing while you are wait for the surgical repair. And it also depends on the size of tear.

Anal sex doesn't cause a hernia, afaik. . .it can cause fissures, or internal hemorrhoids though. You would need to see a doctor to know exactly what's going on. We can't diagnose or help you.

I think loki was referring to haemorrhoids/piles rather than a hernia.

Blood in the bowel is never a great sign, so go to your doctor. He might just ask questions, or look inside ...

There's an old thread about this in the All About Ass sticky.

Basically, it's a matter of degrees.

After taking a good pounding (or a particularly stressful bowel movement), it is not unusual to have a small amount of bright red blood in the toilet or on your toilet paper.

It should last a day or two and then it should go away.

If it's a large amount of bright red blood, if it's dark crimson blood or if it lasts for several days, you need to see your doctor or consider a trip to the emergency room.

Did you use an enema before bottoming? You may have hemorrhoids. Overuse of enemas, among many other things, can cause them. If it is bright red blood, it is probably hemorrhoids. The brighter the blood, the closer to the surface the source of the blood. Darker blood means more likely internal bleeding. If your hole hurts, it's definitely hemorrhoids.

Honestly go to a doctor. I"m not trying to scare you or anything, but I had the same problem when I was younger. I had a boyfriend with a rather gigantic penis at the time so I figured that must have been what was causing it. I eventually went to the doctor to make sure and found out I had a tumor. It's extremely rare to have that as a 21 year old, but sure enough, there it was. I'm now cancer free, but it could have gotten a lot worse had I waited longer. Again, go to a doctor. Better safe than sorry.
