We are aware of the fucked-up story America has had with the myth of race purity, but pretending to innocently, seriously define a country as "white" in 2012 only shows how that racist stupidity has soaked even the apparently most righteous unprejudiced minds in the USA, beginning, and that's the "funny" part, with the "oppressed" themselves.
You are taking for granted the fact that they may have been put off by other reasons, like being fugly, or/and too fat for their eyes, or/and wearing silly American retailer's clothes... but basically you are right about the blindness of prejudices. Some are blind to this or that, and many others just can see and care about skin color or wealth and ignore the rest.

See what I meant in one of my later threads? this guy having born and raised in The Isle would have passed for the typical fugly British, but let him be bred in The Big Isle and you could start considering him a juicier bit of blond.
