Bloomberg is most definitely an enemy of any marginalized group of people, this is centrist crap. Just because Trump is a piece of garbage, doesn't mean I am going to give Bloomberg a pass.

I think if Bloomburg's doctoring extremely obvious footage in an effort to make himself look better his contenders and his constituency don't have to tear anyone down. They just need to note aloud about what's already available. Man needs to go, he's out for Bloomburg and only Bloomburg.

I'm not sure he's gonna last, honestly.
 
Although I am kind've surprised he didn't join the Republican party so he'd be the only sane candidate one could vote for. I think if he'd decided to switch parties earlier, toddled off to a different state then ran, he would've won.

I don't feel for Mike. He tried to game the system, and the system bit back. Most of us will be voting Dem no matter what, but I'm not going to start pushing Mike until there is no other choice.

Unless he sends me a check for a billion dollars. Hey, even I have a price and if he wants to buy a few votes...

Yeah, that. I'm also adverse to pretending he isn't acting like the rest of the Republicans with the liein' ads - and so blatantly, too. If we ignore that we'll get Trump-lite, under a different name, and Bloomburg's a bit smarter when going about fucking the rest of us over for his own gain. Best to cut him off at the knees - it's quicker and the rest of the candidates would beat him by a country mile if they don't let him lie.
 
^ but people are believing his ads. A lady at work told me Obama endorsed Bloomberg. Uh, no. I'm kind of surprised Obama hasn't gone out and said something about that ad

Ya'know what would be even worse than that? With Bloomberg, we could instead end up with Supertrump.

He may actually know how to work with people, and there's an uncomfortable possibility that he might be as much in bed with Putin as you-know-who.

Y'know, it wouldn't surprise me if he decided to room with Putin. And he'd undoubtably be cannier about it.
 
I don't think we need to worry about Mike.

His net favourability ratings have dropped 20% since the Nevada debates.
 
We have strict donation laws and limits as well as campaign expenditures, including personal spending. There are no corporate or lobby or pharmaceutical donations allowed. Private donations are limited as well. It helps to prevent someone 'buying' an election, no matter how wealthy they may be.

A few years ago, we had an MP here in Peterborough who overspent on his campaign using personal finances to hire a robocall firm for $25,000. The 25 grand put him over his campaign limit and he got caught. In court, his defence was that he paid out the 25 grand, but he only got $5,000 worth of services, which put him under the limit. The jury didn't buy it and the guy ended up in prison for it.

Nobody owns our governments.
 
Alas, Mike could have given me all of that money and I'd have been happy to tell him to fuck off.
