Why do so many guys always get completely turned off if another guy shaves or trims their body hair? I hear this all the time in these forums.

I personally think trimming is best if the hair is long but I'd rather a guy be shaved than have a big forest or bush. Something in between is best but body hair and having a beard does not make you any more manly.

Discuss.

Re: Body har = overrated

Why don't you maintain YOUR body the way YOU choose -- and NOT WORRY about OTHER PEOPLE'S preferences...

Sorry -- I would discuss -- but thats about ALL I've got on this topic...

:):):)

Re: Body har = overrated

I agree.. my ex recently told me he shaved his ass and I told him he shouldn't have because it was sexy anyways lol.

However it was also sexy after the shaving... I don't think I mind hair *unless it's too much* but I prefer natural guys.

Re: Body har = overrated

Manly man has hair on chest.

Sissy fem boy shave all.

Insert grunt and woof here.

Insert the fact that i'm JUST starting to get a little chest hair, and i'm 24. Otherwise, i have little hair(except for my bountiful pubes, of course).

I think in the eyes of the guys that state "hairless is not manly" that i'm sort of freak to them... for which i let two fingers talk more than my mouth.

Sissy and manly isn't really about whether you shave or not. More to do with how you carry yourself.

I've known a lot of manly men who shaved and a lot of fems who were hairy.

Plus some people are naturally smooth in most areas.

Oh, and I forgot to say this but body hair on shoulders or back is not attractive and super pale skin + lots of thick black body hair = nasty.

Re: Body har = overrated

Hair don't matter one way or the other. It's strong legs that make a man!

Re: Body har = overrated

I'm not bothered as long as the guy isn't too hairy. And even then, it has to be pure extreme.

So does that mean anyone who uses a wheelchair is a complete flaming fem queen?

Women, girls, and juvenile males do not have beards, mustaches, or chest hair.
So hairiness makes men more manly.

Saying that being hairy does not make you more masculine is like saying having a penis does not make you more masculine.

discuss :p

Discuss? Well I disagree because some lesbians are more masculine than certain gay guys. :)

Re: Body har = overrated

Some lesbians are more butch, yes.
Masculine? That I´m not sure.
Butch and masculine are synonymous. What exactly is the difference?

Re: Body har = overrated

I don't think hair defines a man. it's just a matter of personal preference.

Re: Body har = overrated

Sultan, weren´t you thinking about joining the military? Did you change your mind?

No, I didn't change my mind but what does that have to do with the topic?

As for your definitions, you sort of have your own definition for the words. If you look them up, it will not say that.

Re: Body har = overrated

I think it's all good. I've been majorly turned on by all kinds of combinations.

Re: Body har = overrated

I think when a guy shaves all his hair off espically the pubes they just look like a little boy.. i'm sorry we have hair in those places for reasons.

i definitely prefer hair.

but it doesnt matter to me either way. hair is just a minor detail.

This is very much a personal choice. Some like hair, some don't. Some like more hair than others. This is not something any forum will answer for you - much the same as a forum will not help you decide whether you are gay or not.

hairy is like a soft and fluffy pillow to cuddle up too. shaved, in a day is like sleeping with a cactus!! ouch!! and its like girls having big boobs!! more (in this case, masculine traits) is better!!

this is becoming a tiresome subject and no one is going to change their mind anyway. i like hair, i like bare...just trim the pubes if you must...shaving there is a bust.

I've found both hairy and not-so-hairy guys attractive. Personally, I'm more hairy than I'd like to be, and I'm sure there are others that would agree.

As for shoulder and back hair being unattractive; well than I guess I'm unattractive. When I date someone, they'll just have to accept that, because I'm not going to shave it just to please them. You get ME, as I am.
