Firstly, I'm a virgin and haven't had any sexual contact with someone.
Over the weekend I realized that a small lump was on my shaft near my pubes, it felt really sensitive and sore.
The next day it was bigger and even more sore, the day after (Today), it had grown a head and was white at the tip. I squeezed it and pus came out along with lots of blood, but there's still a small lump and it still feels a little hard like there might be something in there. The tip of the lump has gone a purple colour, is that normal?
I'm incredibly paranoid it's bad.

Sounds like a sebaceous cyst.

Maybe an ingrown hair? Keep applying warm water to draw out any infection and keep squeezing it. Sleep in clean, 100% cotton shorts to keep the infected area clean. Maybe some polysporin too? Good luck.

Sounds like a sebaceous cyst.

I've had one of those, and from his description, that's not it.

OP: I would place a warm washcloth on your penis a few times a day to draw the infection to a head, and then pop it with CLEAN hands (that means getting under the nails clean too!). Disinfect with either isopropyl alcohol or use tea tree or lavender essential oil on the site directly. Keep the area clean and dry. As for sheets - change them, wash them, and so forth.

Hope that helps.

Right, the lumps small but you can still feel something there.
It's a bit of a red colour (the tip of the lump) and I tried squeezing in the shower, with clean hands, but nothing came out at all.
When I squeezed it yesterday it did have a head, it doesn't now it's just red/purple.

Due to ingrown hairs I've had quite a few of these myself. They are commonly known as Sebaceous cysts but are actually pilar cysts as they originate from hair folicles.

I had two very large ones and a few smaller ones since puberty, although a course of antibiotics for acne seemed to kick start the process of them healing. One of the largest ones became infected first, growing really angry looking and sensitive to touch, eventually bursting in the shower, which looked like a scene from Carrie.

The firm white substance is actually made up of keratin and fibrous tissue. If you keep the area clean, the cyst itself should disappear, though there is a chance they can return. In my case, I drained it as much as possible and let it heal, which only took a few days after draining.

They are pretty common, so there's no need to be freaked out. I was advised by a doctor that you could have them removed under local anaesthetic if they give you trouble. Apart from looking unattractive, they don't pose any threat.

Okay, I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday for him to check it out because they might be common, but if they look like this;

isn't normal.
It looks like it's scabbing over.
Is this normal?
The small lump's still there, gah, I'm so worried.
It doesn't hurt unless you push down on it.

Looks like it's already wept and is healing. Like I said, most of the time, you can still feel the keratin/fibrous lump underneath, but it SHOULD look a lot less obvious after it's healed.

The fact that it's scabbing over means that it is indeed healing properly. I'd say there is nothing to worry about, but if you're still feeling anxious, pop along to your GP and have him/her check it over.

Just got in from a drama trip; 23:56 here. Dead tired, this morning the scan thing fell off and the boil, or what's left of it, started blooding again.
Now it looks like a scan again but I think it's just dried blood.
I'm hoping it's only an ingrown hair! Haha

Ok, have you ever had a boil or boils, which are staph infections, and usually pretty remarkable in terms of size like a nickle to a quarter big, raised, swollen painful, etc. If you haven't a history of boils and this seems rather tame by comparison, it probably isn't, which is a good thing. As they say above apply hot compresses. HOT, like as hot as you can stand without burning your self and keep a washcloth hot and keep applying it for like 10 mins at a time 3 or 4 times a day. Don't fuck with it any more. Leave it alone. If you have triple antibiotic ointment, apply it, and then use a band aid. It should resolve pretty readily. If it is still bothering you in four or five days, see a doc.

Thanks for the advice!
It's gone now, the skin's just healing up now, there's a very small tiny lump but that's just from the skin healing, so it's all good, thanks guys!
