But why stop there? Why not just bomb the whole planet? Allies and enemies alike. Let whatever god, or force, or darkness, or whatever, that they believe in sort out the bodies afterward. Then we can ship the homeless and unemployed out to the other continents and let 'em fend for themselves. They can live off the land and have a real chance to flourish. This will allow for serious cutbacks in taxes as there will no need for services such as welfare. We will also be able to make major cutbacks in defense spending as there will no longer be threats to defend against. Then we can get rid of 85% of the government beauracrats as they will have nothing left to do (We'll send them to Antarctica! ). The tax rate at this point will be .00102%. Everybody wins.

I think that killings we commit are our responsibility and killings done by other people aren't. And I think that we are not exonerated by the reprehensible acts of others if we behave in a reprehensible fashion.

If the Iranians nuke Israel that will be the Iranians fault - and no attempt to retroactively (in this complete and reactionary hypothetical) blame us for their choice will make it ours. IF they had a nuke, THEY make the choice to use it or not.

Now if you want to focus on the things WE have done to destabilize the region I'll be happy to oblige.
