Just wondering who's been to a Bon jovi concert and what was it like?
I have tickets for an upcoming concert and would like to know what kind of a show they put on.Thanks!
 
Problem is that they'll be featuring material from Lost Highway, the new CD that is country-oriented and that means less time for all the old stuff that most of us would want to hear. They're coming here on the tour as well and step-daughter would go if it was just the oldies. Found her a DVD concert that has just the oldies for $9 at Costco instead.
 
But it's everything they've recorded since then that sucks and they would be trying to sell the last 2 CDs instead of sticking to what we want to hear.

I really do like their new cd Lost highway,so I don't care what kind of music they play.Some bands just put on a better stage show than others.But 2hrs looking at jon bon jovi won't be a hardship!(!)
 
I'm not a big fan of Bon Jovi's newer stuff (okay, I pretty much don't like it), but I think you'll still have a good time. Yeah, the set will probably be "Lost Highway" heavy, but it will definitely be peppered with the older stuff. I'm sure Jon and they boys put on a great show.
 
I was thinking about checking them out when they come to DC in February. I've never been to a Bon Jovi concert either. Judging from what's been said already, they put on a good show. So that's good to know.
 
Just got home from the Bon Jovi concert at the JLC in London and had to say that we had a blast!!!(!) The boys put on a great show.Mixed it up with a lot of the new and oldies.Jon looked amazing.*|* He even did a few push-ups on stage.:p
The whole band got the audience really worked up.Was worth every cent...|

Seen them here in Coventry (UK) at the Ricoh Arena about a year ago.
