BOOKS: What are you reading?

Genesis and the Big Bang

The Eucharistic Words of Jesus

The United States of Vinland: Tales from Norse America

Yeah, three books at once.

These sound pretty good. I decided to order Genesis and the Big Bang and The United States of Vinland.

I recently finished reading "The Grand Illusion: Love, Lies, and my life with Styx" by Chuck Panozzo. He is one of the founding members of the Rock Group Styx and an out gay man. He currently lives locally in Wilton Manors near Ft Lauderdale, Fl.

The book was interesting about his life as a Gay man with Hiv. It was a very heartwarming story.

I am currently reading "Late, Late at Night" By Rick Springfield. It is a memoir of his life. It is an interesting read so far!

Finished Pay Dirt by Chris Underwood. It's my third book of my Goodreads Challenge 2020 of 50 books to finish before the year is over.

Just finished Anything You Can Imagine: Peter Jackson and The Making of Middle-Earth By Ian Nathan. Great book about the making of The Lord Of The Rings movies!

Privileged kids grow up to find out the world isn't what they think it is. Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go.

It's a dystopian coming of age story. I thought it was inauthentic unto triviality, with pedestrian prose and a climax befitting Scooby Doo.

Books currently being read:

"Theatetus" by Plato
THE GOLDEN ASS by Apuleius
THE LIFE AND CAREER OF ERROL FLYNN by Thomas McNulty
and the book with the most pretentious title I have ever come across:
A PHILOSOPHICAL ENQUIRY INTO THE SUBLIME AND BEAUTIFUL by Edmund Burke

I just finished reading Shirley I Jest" A storied life by Cindy Williams (from Shirley from Laverne & Shirley)

Now I am reading My Mother was Nuts by Penny Marshall. (Laverne from Laverne & Shirley)

I got inspired while reading "Cupid and Psyche," so I've detoured into

ACHILLEID by Statius

But it will only take two sittings.

Since I finished THE GOLDEN ASS, I added EPHESIAN TALE by Heliodorus.

Dancing Barefoot: The Patti Smith Story.
