BOOKS: What are you reading?

Hey guys, got any Amazon e-book recommendations for gay romances? I'll read pretty much any genre like historical, fantasy, sci-fi, thriller, mystery etc. except horror and high school.

I figure I've done enough reading on nifty.org and that I should start supporting people who are creating LGBTQ content.

Jared's Officer by Devin Daniels (short one though)
Tingles in Trunks by Robbie Webb (With XXX Pictures!) (short one though)
Tight Trunks by Robbie Webb (short one though)
10MM Daddy by Isha Fang
Teach For Treat by Rhys Everly
Active Duty by Neil S. Plakcy
Damaged Hearts by Jan St. Marcus

Think I'll save Boystown series for when I'm feeling sick and need a distraction lol. The goodread reviews for that make it sound like a soap opera train wreck (the kind you can't stop watching).

Sorry I should have specified that I prefer not to read short ones! I'm not able to find anything on 10mm Daddy by Isha Fang?

The Song of Achilles, also by Madeline Miller (Circe is more of a can't-put-this-down book, between the two!)

Christianity, Social Tolerance, and Homosexuality by John Boswell. A study of the origins of antigay prejudice in the western world, written in 1980.

I tried to read that book several years ago. it is an academic exercise, and information dense. I got through about a third of it. Boswell kept referring back to terms, persons, and events earlier in the book, and I kept having to go back to remind myself who and what they were, and what they meant . I finally gave up. That's a shame, though, because it would be good to know our history, and how we got to where we are today.

I agree, Araucaria. Boswell's book Christianity, Social Tolerance, and Homosexuality is a serious academic study. If you give yourself plenty of time to digest the information, it's well worth it.

The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov

I just decided to subscribe to Audible from Amazon. It's been an interesting experience to listen while driving (I drive a lot as part of my job). One thing that I definitely miss is being able to go back easily and look up something or, hell, just to reread a well-written section. Audio books are extremely convenient though, since they don't have to compete like physical books do with TV and video games for my recreation time.

Madness: A Bipolar Life by Marya Hornbacher.

I'm still in part 2 of the massive LANCELOT-GRAIL: The Lancelot Romance.
