I wont fall into your self set trap of doing it but I can tell you that after six some odd years you will definitively post about others posting styles more often than you actually discuss the topic at hand. I still love ya buddy but really it is old. For those I found myself more against their opinions and attitude than their info i simply ignored them. Their are two on that list. I swore I would never do that earlier in my JUB-ificating. However it has made all the difference in me reading ignorant and idiotic post that bear no resemblance to reality. I would suggest you do the same. You wont change those folks.

Bottom line is either he was lying then or he is lying now. Either way he is lying for self promotion. We dont need that guy in office and since he is the only other choice....
 
It's very funny how everyone on the right is so busy digging into technicalities, that they completely ignore the big picture which paints Romney as a lying shady businessman. Doesn't even matter if he's particularly guilty in this instance or not. The general feeling he creates is of backdealing and insincerity.

On this issue both sides are 'digging into technicalities', which is why I'm leaning with Factcheck, I trust them more than I do the partisans on either side.
 
Oh totally. But point is - clearly there is a need to go into technicalities. The case isn't clear enough for Romney to say "nope, nothing's happened. I don't need to be proving anything". It's not a ridiculous bullshit story like Obama's birth certificate or the dog-eating. It's a problem. And even if Romney has a clean legal exit from it, there were obviously machinations involved. Explanations necessary. That ALREADY is enough to discredit him.

and ignore anything that does not jive with their desire to portray Romney as something other than an effective businessman

this is his # 1 priority - the economy - and his ability to run businesses vs. pres. obama

hence this narrative must work or else obama hasn't a leg to stand on

It is inconceivable to me that Mittens owned a business worth hundreds of millions of dollars and didn't have a clue what was going on. His whole defense is a cop out, and that's how it will sound to the voters. There is nothing factually incorrect about Obama's ads. The company that Romney owned did the things Obama said he is doing. If Mitt didn't know, then shame on him. But it's not an excuse.

But he did know. We have on record, under oath, his own word that he regularly went to board meetings. Not intermittently, not occasionally -- those wouldn't have qualified him for residence in Massachusetts -- but regularly.

This while thing gives me the image of Romney showing up for board meetings, putting in ear plugs, and taking a nap in the corner.

Oh but didnt you know Kuli? This isnt a real issue... it is smoke and mirrors. This doesn't talk about real problems just Mitts Character and we dont need that.

The best bet is to focus on an economy that has been kneecapped by republicans the last three years and call their handi work Obama's doing. The lemmings will accept that so that is what they will do....
