Wow what an impressive group to hail from...
it's true, George Washington is universally regarded as the worst president ever.
Still chance he does seem to have a point where the majority of the post is devoted to complaining about others rather than providing substantial proof of your own opinion.
I would just hold onto the opinion of others as it really has no place. Do you think I don't see a posters username AND know what it is they will say and the biases they will parrot?
I wont fall into your self set trap of doing it but I can tell you that after six some odd years you will definitively post about others posting styles more often than you actually discuss the topic at hand. I still love ya buddy but really it is old. For those I found myself more against their opinions and attitude than their info i simply ignored them. Their are two on that list. I swore I would never do that earlier in my JUB-ificating. However it has made all the difference in me reading ignorant and idiotic post that bear no resemblance to reality. I would suggest you do the same. You wont change those folks.
I did a thread a few weeks ago about how successful businessmen have all been our worst presidents.
It's very funny how everyone on the right is so busy digging into technicalities, that they completely ignore the big picture which paints Romney as a lying shady businessman. Doesn't even matter if he's particularly guilty in this instance or not. The general feeling he creates is of backdealing and insincerity.
it doesn't seem like anyone outside of partisans is disputing the fact that Mitt Romney was on a leave of absence and more or less a CEO in name only (because it wasn't sure if the leave was permanent or not). this has been confirmed by factcheck and numerous members of Bain, including democrats and Obama-supporters/fund-raisers.
that may or may not raise questions about his 2002 run for Governorship, but the Boston Globe article (re: the "Topic" part of On Topic) makes no such allegations. I don't know enough about the details myself to really weigh in, but I'd read articles written by legit news sources about it with an open mind.

It is inconceivable to me that Mittens owned a business worth hundreds of millions of dollars and didn't have a clue what was going on. His whole defense is a cop out, and that's how it will sound to the voters. There is nothing factually incorrect about Obama's ads. The company that Romney owned did the things Obama said he is doing. If Mitt didn't know, then shame on him. But it's not an excuse.
This while thing gives me the image of Romney showing up for board meetings, putting in ear plugs, and taking a nap in the corner.
This whole thing gives me the image of Romney lying through his teeth to get into a state race and not being at a meeting at all.
^ pretty sure I haven't linked to Breitbart but if I did ...............
for a guy who lives/breathes alternet-ative reality that'd be pretty "pot calling kettle black"
