Not sure 'hot topics' is quite the right section for this...but no idea where it should go + I know mods have the abality to move stuff where it should go. LOL

This one is really for the Colorado JUBbers:
Boulder Pridefest was originally scheduled for September 15th, but was cancelled due to all the flooding they had up there.
It has been re-scheduled for Sat November 23rd (from 3-8 pm) and will be indoors...its also their 10 year anniversary for having a Pride too :)
Don't know if anyone was planning on going up there originally, but just figured I'd put this out there so you have the new date. :)


Pridefest inside..IDK sounds like it might feel kinda weird LOL but I'm sure it'd still be cool. :rb:
Sadly I sorta doubt I'll be going :cry: (went the last 2 years & was sorta looking forward to making it 3 back in Sept)
The fact its on a Saturday (instead of Sunday like they usualy do) is a good thing in my book.
But starting at 3pm is late enough that its sorta pointless for me to go LOL (saying I got there _at_ 3, that gives just an hour before time to head back home :? )


Oh and who/what is God-Des & She ?
 
Never been to Boulder pridefest. I might consider going. How do you get up there, Jay?

I'm actually not in Denver, but farther south (outside city limits)
Boulder is 1+ hour from me (thats the reason I'd have to leave there around 4, so I could be back by a bit after 5 - especially since its dark by 5pm by that time of year)
$50 is a fair bit to me (not that it'd hurt me as a one time expense LOL) but more-so that, if I just 'went somewhere' and stayed the night, there'd be too many questions. :eek:
<its not like I can say: "um.. I'm going to Boulder for Pridefest" >

Just a note: don't go expecting a large/mass-crowds event like in the big cities...moreso think a smaller/hometown event :) (personally i kinda like that feel though. )
Also...I didn't think to post the links to their website like you did (even tho I knew it was there). Good idea :)

Past 2 years I just drove up there. In your case going from Denver, highway 36 is probably the best? (I don't know how the construction is now though..back in the summer I'd heard it was kindof a mess LOL)
 
November's more than half over already :eek: and this is next weekend (wow time goes fast)
Just curious if anyone decided to go?
