Boxing Weigh-Ins

Lots of asses as viewed from the side window of the weigh-in room during first hour of this video (I just wish the chairs and rock of gloves weren't in the way of the window as there was potential for some frontal flashes especially if the guy filming was a little closer):

There used to be an old guy here at Omnoi who would sit next to the weigh-in room window before covid days. I have a feeling he's not around anymore, haven't seen him in ages. I often wished he filmed the weigh-ins as he had the best view ever!

Thanks for breathing life back into the site, i don't really post much here now as 1. there isn't much out there and 2. a lot is removed at source if I do.
Covid has destroyed so much, the way weigh-ins are done seems to have changed, more behind closed doors or like UFC and Top Rank with the big screen.
As for the Thai weigh-ins again so different, different places, people, things in the way, is Lumpinee closed forever!?
 
Wonderful finds Trombone! Really awesome !!! moment...so this dude was filming with 3 phones lined up from top to bottom with one hand and you managed to find the lowest angle! That link is new to me haha I only know about the other 2 angles that were higher and not as good.

I remember the old guy at Omnoi! I can only imagine the sights he had seen lol. Would be incredible if he filmed...we also had so many that stopped filming as well; remember the dude muay7 or meta7 or lucky7 or something like that haha who would shoot next to the window at Omnoi...good angles at Lumpinee too.

Big shame about Lumpinee - it's hard to imagine such an iconic place being abandoned; really hope they bring it back. Accordingly to Wiki the Army was implicated when there was an outbreak at the stadium with matches going on despite a government shutdown order and it seems there are plans to sell the stadium or convert to a museum etc :(

There was also World Siam Stadium that was so new and hyped up as well but quiet now...indeed Covid destroyed so much.

Been a quiet end to the week for Bangkok weigh-ins with nothing much going on from the regular venues/posters. Not sure if that is something to do with the unfortunate death during the week of a famous Thai boxer, who died in hospital of a brain haemorrhage after a elbow to the head during a fight recently. Anyway, WSS weigh-ins are back finally today, which we haven't seen in a very long time, so it's good to see a return.

Haha really nice to see World Siam Stadium being active again, hope more goes there for video coverage!

I believe it was quiet for a couple of days and possibly due to their King's birthday, am glad it was just for that couple of days.
