This Japanese boxer has posted some nice weigh-ins before. Here is a new weigh-cutting video from him where he shows off an amazing body for a 40 year old. No nudity but some nice views of his body in underwear. Happy new year guys!

Ah love this guy, he has given us some great footage in the past and clearly looks after himself. The weight cutting videos can often be very revealing, hope we can find more. Surprised there are not more from Thailand too, especially from the foreign fighters

I heard somewhere Lumpinee open again from the 9th Jan??

I wasn't aware it was closed? There's been events held there but no weigh-ins that I've seen in a long time. I think the CEO of One Championship is now their main promoter, they have different weigh-in rules to regular muay thai, so i doubt we'll see much of anything from there going forward unfortunately.

they are also against weight cutting via dehydration etc

boxers get disqualified if they try to cut weight unhealthily
good for the boxers but missed opportunities for us haha

It is a fine balance, if done right the risks are much lower, I know many nutritionists and such like who assist the fighters to safely do this. One championships are a joke anyway, using the hoops too, all very woke PC if you ask me. I will look out for Lumpinee weigh-ins, that has always been my favourite.

Lumpinee has been open for MMA and also their first ever female fights for a year already (long before one championship got involved), which is probably why the regular filmers that cover muay thai in Bangkok don't pay much attention to the weigh-ins anymore. There was also a big crackdown on gambling at Lumpinee, which is another reason pdd and others don't flim there, because their main reason for filming the weigh-ins is so that their gambling audience is catered to.
