Boxing Weigh-Ins
I've never been any good at finding weighin videos and I don't know how others do it, but what happened to all the good videos from Europe and Latin America? Before Covid, some of the best videos came from Britain, continental Europe, Mexico, and Nicaragua, not to mention the videos of that goofy Japanese (?) guy with plates and bowls. All the American ones now seem to use that stupid hoop thing, but surely there are some good ones out there somewhere in the world.

Several factors, all for the detriment of good weigh-ins. I look and i think have things changed due to convenience, i mean a lot of weigh-ins, mainly in MMA are done over a period of time, like the UFC where you have a window to weigh-in, so they are not filmed as they can go on hours then we have the ceremonial ones later, it is creeping into boxing too. We also had "towel gate" where a few fighters cheated to make weight by holding the towel, I believe kelvin Gastelum was one that started it, so they brought out that ridiculous curtain, others use a hoop type thing as you say, this is also the best way i can describe it and also yes, woke times are also a factor.
Another reason is fighters seem to bale to check their weight now at many places before they officially weigh-in so they know if they have to lose that bit more weight.
From weigh-ins i have seen over past 2-3 years it is certainly the officials that seem to be the issue, stopping fighters getting naked until a big sheet is brought out, there will always be slippage lol but looking back to even pre Covid things have changed a lot, take the Thai weigh-ins to, it no longer seems a rule that you have to weigh-in naked though most still do.
 
Do they ever film weigh-ins from the Phetchbuncha Samui Stadium events?
