Boxing Weigh-Ins

Hi guys,

There are still naked weigh-ins in Thailand on a daily basis. Unfortunately there are only a few media/gambling companies that film the weigh-ins anymore. These guys are pretty careful most of the time to not film naked bodies. I've seen comments from some of the viewers about that before. As much as we might love to see naked Thai men, Thailand itself is a very conservative society when it comes to nudity. I also noticed in some of the signage at Raja. stadium recently that members of the general public aren't allowed in the locker/weigh-in areas anymore. Lumpinee has changed management since the covid shutdown, and they are also appear to be more strict than they used to be on who is allowed in the weigh-in area and locker areas. About once a week I try to search on FB for anything random there at more regional weigh-ins, but it's like looking for a needle in a haystack these days. I've seen some guys getting naked at one champ. weigh-ins lately but they use a giant hoop to hide their bodies, so not very exciting.

If you go back at look through the posts here for the last 6 years or so, there's still a lot of working links for the thai weigh-ins, but yes some are unavailable now. Another way to find older videos of the weigh-ins is by going to google translate and translate the following phrases into Thai: "boxer weigh-in", "boxer weight", "boxer torso", "boxer scales". Then go to facebook videos and do a search with those thai translations. That's how I found a lot of the links I posted here previously.
