My boyfriend and I found each other at a time when we were not looking for relationships ... that's the way it should be.

When you're actively looking, you set yourself up for big dissapointment when nothing happens for you.

Early friggin' 20s! What's the rush to be in a relationship at that age anyway???
 
I'm not looking for a relationship. I'm open to anything. When I meet someone I like though I want to see how it goes...spend some time with that person...no expectations you know...if it's meant to be a relationship it will go there.

but other people seem to have these boundaries..."I don't want a relationship" so they just don't let anything happen...even if they like you a LOT! I don't get why people aren't more open?

Moreover while I'm not looking for a relationship...people say I give off relationship "vibes". It's just that when I'm into someone...I'm *really* into them...and when I'm intimate with someone I like to be playful and sweet just like when people are in relationships. I don't mean to give off these vibes...

Lastly though... I do tend to be picky...and I have an unusual personality/history I'd say...so it's really really hard to find a match.
 
LOL... I have to say... I saw the title and the first word to come to my mind was "suck" LOL.

I empathize. I wish I could give you better advice but really, I think it'll happen when the time is right. That's what I keep telling myself at least. And I refuse to lower my standards for anybody. I don't think they are that unreasonable.... perhaps uncommon, but not unreasonable.

you can't tell me that you haven't hooked up with someone who actually didn't to start dating you? we've all been there. hell my longest relationship has been a fucken year. how fucken stupid am i. i generally throw out all good candidates out the door. why, don't know. i know it's me. maybe it's not them, but you. stop searching and maybe you'll get lucky and someone will find you and adore you as much as you adore him...
