Thanks everyone for the comments! I'm shooting myself for not writing for this long. I fell waaaay behind and, to make matters worse, started a new job today. It may be a while until I get into the new rhythm, but I just had to get down to writing a new part for all of you. Hopefully the posting of new parts will get back to some sort of regularity.

As always, thanks tons for reading and commenting!!!

Part 22

I relax and take it easy on the day after New Year's. I need to smash in all the relaxation time I can get. There won't be much of it after we get going on this project for the casino.

I wind down for the night and draw a bubble bath. My phone buzzes, and the built-in announcer says, "Message from James Briscoe; you can say 'read it' or 'ignore'."

"Read it."

The announcer then reads aloud the message from James. "'Hey cutie. Can't wait 'til I see you tomorrow night. I'm both looking and not looking forward to leaving for New York.' You can say 'reply', 'call', or 'I'm done'."

"Reply."

"Say your message."

"I can't wait until tomorrow night either. You should be excited about New York. You'll be back in no time."

The announcer reads back my message so I know it got transcribed correctly. And it did. "Send."

I love that feature of my phone. I normally only use it when driving, but it proves useful with wet hands, too.

* * * * *

My alarm goes off, way too early as usual. I throw on some running shorts, go for a quick run, and return to shower. I glance at my watch - just enough time to run to Starbucks before work and get the biggest god-damned cup of coffee I can. And off I go.

I head into the office, coffee in hand. Eric's already there. "Hey Eric. Did you just get here?"

"Yeah, a few minutes ago. You ready to get this thing rolling?"

I take a big gulp of my coffee. "As ready as I'll ever be."

"Great. Everyone gets here at 8. Then the real fun begins."

I give Eric a weird look. "You almost sound like a sadist when you say that."

"Well, someone has to enjoy it."

I sit at my desk and go over a few notes to refresh my memory. I finish my coffee right as 7:45 rolls around, and some of our new programmers start to show up. I just love how enthusiastic everyone is on their first day.

Once everyone shows up, we sit at the big meeting table in the middle of our office floor. Eric starts us off with a joke. "If you've ever gambled at a casino and lost, here's your chance to make your money back."

We take turns introducing the client and giving details about the project, including a very malleable timeline Eric and I had drafted before the New Year. Eric then closes the initial meeting. "We've gone through everyone's résumés and identified the people who work best in a particular area. Based on that, we've split you up into separate teams. But, a huge project like this is a great opportunity to expand all of our skill sets, mine included. So I think it would be a great idea to get together once a week, bounce ideas off of each other, and learn a thing or two."

Eric then turns it over to me, and I continue. "Eric and I will oversee the entire project together, so you can come to either one of us for help. However, Eric will be focusing on the teams doing programming and databases, and I'll focus on quality assurance testers and graphic designers. So right now, Eric's teams: go with Eric; my teams, come with me; we'll go over the timeline and specific requirements for each time and hash out some initial ideas-"

Eric interrupts. "-And it'll be lunch time before you know it."

And he was right.

Eric chimes in right around the beginning of when we planned lunch. "As you know, we usually do an hour lunch, but first days can be pretty hectic, so everyone take an extra half-hour."

Everyone, including myself, seems excited about the extra time off. I'm also caught off guard, so I whisper to Eric, "You can just extend the lunch break?"

"We're project managers, aren't we?"

"So can we get an hour and a half every day, then?"

"Come on, now, Brad, I can't have Rick breathing down my neck for that much lost time. 30 minutes is small enough. He trusts me and knows I have good judgement." Eric points a finger at me. "He's trusting in you, too, so don't go pulling things like this every day, hear?"

"I hear."

"Good. Now how about you and I grab lunch together? You pick the place."

And where else would I pick but my new favorite deli?

* * * * *

"Here we are," I say, as Eric and I round the corner.

"This place looks good."

We head inside and walk up to the counter. Derek stands at the register. "Back so soon? And with a new guy?"

"No, Derek; this is Eric, my coworker."

"Uh huh, right, your coworker. I'm gonna tell James about you!" Derek shakes his finger at me disapprovingly.

Another employee of the deli overhears the conversation, walks to Derek, and slaps him on the arm. She turns her attention to Eric and me, rolls her eyes, and shakes her head. "Sorry about him. What can I get you guys?"

"That's all right. Can I get a ham & Swiss panini?"

"Sure, and for you?"

"That sounds good. I'll take one of those, too, please."

"Sure thing."

We pay separately and head to a table.

"You and James must have come here recently."

"You think?"

"So are you two an item yet?"

"No, not yet." I sigh deeply.

"What's wrong? Something to do with James?"

"Well, yes, but it's probably not what you think. After my date, James and I made plans to watch the fireworks at the Space Needle. We got there and my two best friends and their girlfriends were there, too. We had all gone to Mount Rainier together, too. Anyway, one of the girlfriends practically explodes with anger over what I did with Kelly."

"Whoa."

"Yeah. And the worst part? She tried to use that against me to dissuade James from getting to know me more."

"And?"

"It backfired. I had already told James about everything, so he stood right by my side and defended me. So did everyone else. She tried getting her boyfriend to leave us and go with her, but he stayed, too."

Eric looks at me, confused. "So... I'm missing the point."

"I haven't met anyone like James, ever, I don't think. He's so calm and understanding. I'm just so scared I'll fuck something up again."

Eric looks me squarely in the eye. "Brad, you're not going to fuck it up. What are you scared of?"

"I'm worried things won't work out. He's leaves for New York tomorrow. He invited me along, but of course I can't go. And now with this big project, I don't think I can handle a relationship. Both are fighting for all my time and energy. I don't want to wait and then find out he met someone else."

Eric places his hand on mine. "Brad, take a deep breath. If he is as calm and understanding as you say, I think he can wait the three months this project will take."

I take that deep breath. "I hope you're right."

"How old is he, by the way?"

"A little more than a year older than me."

"And what's he do?"

"He works at his father's law firm. They're actually all going together to New York."

"You're right about one thing: he does sound like the perfect package."

"Yeah! That's why I'm so worried!"

"Calm down. Let me tell you about me and my wife. Lorna and I met in college. We had kids fairly young - a little younger than we were expecting - which is something you and James will never have to worry about." Eric winks at me, then continues. "We graduated right around the time our first child was born. And, trust me, you do not want to mess with a pregnant woman stressed out from studying for finals and trying to graduate on time. Something else you will never have to worry about."

I chuckle.

"Anyway, things were rough back then. I rushed out right after graduation and took the first job I could get while she stayed home with the kids. Our situation wasn't perfect, but we stuck with it. Eventually Rick came along and 'discovered' me and offered me a job at his company. The money started coming in faster, stress went away, and Lorna and I looked back and realized: hey, we have two healthy kids, I'm making more money, and I'm actually using my degree. We really have nothing to complain about. You just have to have the right perspective."

I sigh. "I guess you're right."

"If you and James get together, trust me, things will work out just fine. You have nothing to worry about."

"I hope so."

"Speaking of which, are you going to see him before he flies out tomorrow?"

"Yeah; he and I planned to see each other tonight."

"Well, then, how about you take off an hour early to be able to spend more time with him. I'll hold down the fort until the end of the day."

"Eric, are you sure?"

"Of course. There's only so much we can all do the first day. I can wrap everyone up myself in the last hour."

"You really don't have to do that."

"Nonsense." Eric then leans in and whispers, "Rick did the same for me when I really needed it. When Lorna was pregnant."

"But James isn't pregnant."

"Yeah, I know. Maybe you two can fix that."

I look away and start laughing, and can feel my cheeks turning red.

Eric stands up. "Come on, Brad, time for us to head back to the office."

I stand up and we leave the restaurant. "Thank you, Eric. I don't think I've ever had anyone go out of their way like this to help me out."

"Don’t mention it. I still owed a karmic debt from when Rick helped me out. I just saw this as an opportunity to pay it back. And when one of your coworkers has a stressed-out, pregnant wife who's about to graduate, you can do the same for him or her."

"I'll keep that in mind."

"You better; there's a special place in hell for people who don't pay that debt."

I chuckle.

Eric and I head back to the office.

Just like Brad and his new job, you have yours, so, you need't worry about making any deadlines with the story. Great update though. Hope your first day was as productive as Brad's, AG.

Craiger

Thanks for the update, well worth the wait. Can't wait for you to be able to continue with it. Also congrats. on the new job!

I'm so glad you guys are enjoying the story. I feel at this point I should open up a bit as to why I chose the setting.

Some of you readers may know that I took a trip to Seattle last year. That's eventually where I want to move. I absolutely 100% enjoyed my time there and did not want to leave! Unfortunately due to circumstances, I couldn't stay, but I plan to return as soon as I can!

Some things are getting in gear here in Mississippi, and even though I'll probably be stuck here for a little bit longer, I'm actually getting what I need in order to be able to move. Every time I open up this story and write, or any other time I'm reminded of Seattle, I feel this sense of longing for visiting again and moving there. It's a very strong desire. The reason I write this story is probably the same as your reason for reading it - I want my life to work as well as Brad's. I want to be in a city that I love, and find a super nice guy who loves me. But I'm pretty sure that, given enough hard work and perseverance, we will all find what we're looking for. In the meantime, this story is the best I have!

As I have weekends free, I'll try to concentrate a lot of my writing on the weekends so that I can post 2-3 parts every week.

So, with that, here's the next part, hot off the presses!

Part 23

When Eric and I get back to the office, I text James to tell him I'll be off an hour early. He texts back: Awesome! More Brad for me tonight!

Time rolls by, ever so slowly, and eventually it's my time to go. We have the different teams working on their own now, so Eric and I step away for a bit.

"Thanks again, Eric, for letting me have this extra time."

"Don't mention it. You and James have a great night tonight. Tell me how it goes tomorrow."

"I will. Bye."

Eric and I hug quickly, and then I head to the elevators and begin heading home.

I text James to tell him I'm all done with work. He calls me.

"Hey James."

"Brad! You're all done for the day!"

"Yep!"

"Good. Can I drop by your place in about 15 minutes?"

"Yeah, I should be home by then."

"OK. I'll see you there."

"Wait, what do you have planned?"

There is silence on the line for a few seconds. James then says, "It's a secret."

"Oh boy."

"Don't worry; I'm not going to kidnap you and take you to an S&M convention."

"Damn. That sounds like more fun than my weekend trip to the mountain was."

James guffaws. "Don't worry, cutie. You'll have a great time tonight, I promise."

"I'll see you when you get here."

I get home several minutes later. I walk to the mailbox and check it, even though almost nothing desirable ever arrives. I hear a car pull up behind me and look to see James parking on the street. He steps out and walks up to me.

He wraps his arms around me. "Hey cutie." He then plants a kiss on my lips. "How was work?"

"All right. Just a regular first day back, and with a new team."

"Nothing too hard?"

"Nope. But, by the time you get back, you may see a different picture. I'll probably be bald from ripping all my hair out."

He tousles my hair. "I hope not. I don't want to see you lose this hair until you're way past your elder years."

I take his hand and give it a squeeze as I fix my hair with my other hand. "So, where are we going?"

"Still a secret."

"Well, I want to go in and change real quick, and then we can get going."

"OK."

I unlock the door and we head inside. I go to the bedroom while he sits on the couch in the living room. I pull off my khakis and reach for some blue jeans. I glance down and notice I'm semi-hard. Comes with the territory, I guess. I pull on my jeans, do some adjusting so that my half-erection isn't too noticeable, put on a more casual shirt, and head into the living room.

James looks up at me. "You may want to bring a change of clothes?"

"For what? We going hiking or something?"

"No, but just in case we decide to stay overnight somewhere."

"Umm, OK. I'll just grab my work clothes for tomorrow."

I walk to the bedroom and grab a pair of khakis, shirt, socks, and underwear, and throw them into an overnight bag. I go back to the living room. "OK, all ready."

"All right; let's go."

We step outside and I lock up. We walk to the car, get in, and drive off. We make a few turns, and then head north on Aurora Ave, going toward Fremont.

"I think I know where we're going."

"You do?"

We cross the bridge, take the first exit, and make a few more turns. We then pull up alongside a set of condos, almost a stone's throw away from the lake.

"Oh. That's why you wanted me to pack a change of clothes."

"Let's head inside."

We step out and head to his front door. He opens it and waves me inside first. I enter, take a few steps inside, and stop in my tracks.

"Oh. My. Fucking. God."

His place is huge. There are stairs to the left heading up to a loft, with the kitchen below it. The rest of the area is open, with two couches, a fireplace, and large bookshelves filled to the top with books. The wall opposite the front door has floor-to-ceiling windows with an absolutely fabulous view of Gas Works Park, Lake Union, and the Seattle skyline.

James puts his hand on my left shoulder. "So, what do you think?"

"You can afford a place like this working at a law firm?"

"You can, when your father owns the firm."

"It's gorgeous."

"Thank you."

I'm speechless for a few seconds, and then James breaks the silence. "You hungry?"

I snap back from my stupor. "Um, yes, I am kind of hungry. Lunch was a while ago. Where do you want to go?"

"I thought I'd make something here."

I stare at him. "You cook, too?"

"Well, I'm no five-star chef, but I can whip up a few mean dishes."

"A high-paying job, this place, and you can cook? Jesus, you are perfect."

"So I was thinking, teriyaki-marinated salmon, grilled veggies, and yellow rice?"

"That sounds amazing."

"Awesome. Let me grab a little appetizer first."

He walks to the fridge, pulls out a tray of cheese, and sets it on the counter.

"Can I get you a glass of wine?"

"Yes, please. Do you have any Moscato?"

"Sure do." He grabs two very large wine glasses, pops open a bottle of Moscato, and pours a large helping of wine in each glass. We raise our glasses.

"To your trip."

"And to a safe return."

We toast.

I take a piece of cheese and taste it.

"So, I have a bone to pick with you, mister."

"Uh oh. What?"

"I think you have a confession to make."

"I do? I don't know what you're talking about."

"A little birdie told me you supposedly met someone new..."

I look at him, a bit dumbfounded.

"...And took him to my favorite deli."

"Oh, him. No. That was Eric, my coworker. Wait, did Derek talk to you earlier today?"

James chuckles. "Yep."

"And you believed him?"

"Hell no. He lost all his credibility when he used me to cheat on his girlfriend. But he did call me and tried really hard to convince me that you were somehow cheating on me, so I wanted to give you a little bit of a hard time for it."

I take a sip of my wine.

"Plus, it's only cheating if you and I are actually boyfriends."

"And if he was more than just a coworker."

"Yes, that too."

James spins around and begins taking things out of the fridge: salmon, vegetables, and things for the rice. "Guess I should get dinner going."

"Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Do you have any romantic music on you?"

"Please. You're talking to the king of romantic comedies. I have every soundtrack."

"Awesome. I have a sound system near the fireplace. Go ahead and plug something in to play."

I do as instructed. I select an album from my phone, plug it in to the sound system, and turn it on. The first few bars play, and then the rhythm starts. James shouts, "Great song!"

I return to the kitchen and grab another piece of cheese. "You know this song?"

James oils the cast iron pan for the salmon and gets the pot ready for the rice. "Absolutely! This is one of my favorites. And I think it sounds best after a few glasses of wine, when you're in that kind of a blissful state and you get lost in the music."

I raise my glass. "I'll drink to that." And I take a sip. James does the same.

The songs of the album progress from one to the next as James works his magic on the salmon and fills the air with a sweet and salty aroma. The smell of the food along with the wine and the music make me feel like I'm in heaven. James glances at me as he cooks, we make eye contact, and smile at each other.

"Bon Appétit!"

I set the table while James serves the salmon, veggies, and rice on plates. I light the two candles atop the table. We sit down, and I skewer a sliver of salmon and taste its savory goodness.

"Oh, God, James - this is magnificent!"

James tilts his head to the side and smiles. "Thank you."

"I mean it, this is amazing."

"Don't overdo it, now."

"I'm not. I'm dishing out just the right amount of compliments."

James smiles again. We continue eating as another romantic album starts playing.

I break the silence. "James, I really wish I could go with you tomorrow to New York."

James raises his hand. "Shh, don't mention it. You've got other commitments. It's completely fine. Your being able to come here tonight and enjoy dinner with me more than makes up for it."

"Good." I finish off the rest of my wine.

"Can I get you more?"

"Yeah. Thanks."

James gets up and refills my glass. "Don't worry - we still have half the bottle left."

"Not after tonight, we won't," I say with a smirk.

We finish the last few pieces of the meal. "How was it?"

"I think I can die happy now."

"Um, don't right now if you can help it. I'm not into necrophilia, you know."

"I'll try to stay alive."

James chuckles, then gets up and goes to the fireplace. Just like the stove, the fireplace runs off of gas. I guess that's fitting, being near Gas Works Park. He starts it up and it begins warming up the immediate area - but with how big the place is, it would probably take ages to warm the entire place up.

James returns to the table, takes the plates, and gives them a quick rinse at the sink. I take the wine glasses and move to the fireplace. James joins me a few seconds later. He wraps his arm around me, and we sit and sip the rest of our wine. I lean my head against his shoulder, and close my eyes...

* * * * *

James gently shakes me awake. "Come on, let's head up to bed."

"Doesn't that involve stairs?"

"Yes... You can do it."

I try to protest. "But I'm comfortable right where I am."

"Trust me; the bed's much more comfortable."

I reluctantly give in. "Oh, all right."

I rouse myself enough to stand up and walk to the stairs. We climb up to the loft and walk to his bed.

James takes off his shirt and begins taking off his pants. "Brad, I sleep in the nude. I hope you don't mind."

"Nope, as long as you don't mind me sleeping nude with you."

"Good." James removes his underwear. Even though his penis is flaccid, it's still a pretty good size. He has a nice tuft of pubic hair, neatly trimmed. The moon shines through the window and right on his body, making him look quite exceptional.

"So, Brad, you getting ready for bed, or what?"

I shake my head back into consciousness. "Oh, yeah, right." I take off my shirt, pants, and underwear.

We both crawl under the sheets and lie flat. I rest my head on his chest, and he rubs his hand on my chest and arms. He rests his right hand on my chest and tousles my hair with his left hand. I hoist myself up on my elbow and lean in close to his face - so close I can smell hints of the heavenly salmon he made. I caress his face with my hand, part my lips, and we kiss open-mouthed for what seems like an eternity. I run my right hand from his chest, down to his torso, until I reach right above his pubic hair. He reaches down and stops my hand from going any further.

"Hang on."

"What's wrong, James?"

"Nothing. You have no idea how much I'm enjoying this moment - how much I want to go further. I just have a really, really early morning tomorrow, and you've got to get up, too. I don't want to be all out of energy tomorrow."

I can't lie - I'm a bit disappointed. OK, a lot disappointed. But he's right. We must have fallen asleep for a couple hours in front of the fireplace, and it was now the middle of the night. We wouldn't get much rest if we fooled around.

I lean in and kiss him again. "Are you sure you can cope until you get back in town?"

He smiles. "I'll have to find some way to manage."

I give him one more kiss, then hoist my body up and lie directly on top of him. I wrap my arms around and under him, and we hug tightly for a few seconds, skin against skin, using each other's body to keep the heat from the fireplace between us. I can feel his penis growing erect, as I'm sure he can feel mine doing the same. I raise my head up, open-mouth kiss him again a few times, and then slide off of his body and lie beside him.

I turn around to face away from him, and he curls his body against mine, leaving no space between us. He wraps his arms around me. I fall asleep to the sound of his breathing and the sensation of the air from his nose blowing like a gentle breeze rhythmically against my neck.

Damn! Forgot the YouTube video to go along with this part. Here it is!!!

Now that's romance at its best, AG. Excellent food, wine, music and two lovers in front of a fireplace. I'm glad James is taking it slow. The more to look forward to on his return from NY, and the more for Brad to realize this just may be the man of his dreams.

Another fantastic installment! That sounds like a perfect evening. Also, thanks for the back story for choosing the setting.

That romantic setting was just about perfect, wasn't it? The right music can make all the difference, and the food, wine, a fireplace, and the right person can make it absolute heaven. Everyone deserves the ability to have that in real life.

I have a feeling the guys will be doing LOTS of thinking about one another over the next week.

You're very welcome for the back story! Just a side note: The original screenplay didn't really have a specific location in mind. It wasn't until I decided to rewrite the screenplay into a narrative that I chose to set it in Seattle. I love that city so much, I wanted to maintain a close connection to it even after I physically left back in September. Apparently I'm doing a good job of that - and it makes me miss it so much more! Ah well. To late to go and change that now, huh?

Surprise! I wanted to get a bit ahead and write some stuff tonight, and I ended up writing enough to publish a whole part! To make up for my lack of posting new parts earlier this month, I decided to post this one hot off the presses! Enjoy!

Part 24

I wake up to the sensation of James running his hands all over my chest and arms.

He leans in and kisses me. "Good morning, cutie."

It's still pitch black outside. I stretch my arms out and let out a massive yawn. "What time is it?"

"A little after 4:30."

I groan and roll over. James rubs my back. "Come on, I have to get up. Super early flight and all."

"Can I just skip work and stay here and sleep in?"

James chuckles. "Sorry Brad, I've got to go. But we can take a shower together."

"Ooh, I'm getting up, I'm getting up!"

I suddenly get a burst of energy, sit up, and let out one last yawn and give my arms a stretch.

James flips the covers onto the bed, exposing his body. God, he looks great. He stands up and walks to my side of the bed, his cock practically staring me in the face. I look down at myself. I'm rock hard.

I look up at James. "How do you do it?"

"Do what?"

"Stay soft."

"I don't know. I guess I'm just used to being naked a lot. I hardly wear any clothes when I'm home, and at night I usually go naked."

"And no one's looked inside, seen you, and complained?"

"Not yet. My thing is, if they do complain, they probably shouldn't have been looking through the window in the first place."

"Fair enough."

"Come on; let's go shower."

He reaches his hands out and I take them. I get out of bed, erection exposed, and follow him to the bathroom. He grabs two towels and sets them near the shower. He reaches in and turns on the water.

"It takes a few seconds to get good and hot."

I look down at myself again. "Apparently I'm already good, hot, and ready to go."

James reaches down to my cock and grips it firmly. "Damn, this thing is so hot, it could heat my whole place!" He reaches his other hand and tugs my balls while he gives my cock a few strokes. "Impressive." I almost melt from the glorious sensation.

He reaches his hand under the stream of water. "OK, water's all ready." He steps in, and I step in behind him. He runs his hair under the water to get it good and wet, and then grabs the shampoo. I quickly take the shampoo from him, squirt some in my hands, then lather it up and start massaging his scalp. He closes his eyes, obviously enjoying the feeling of ecstasy my hands are providing. When I finish lathering his scalp, I move my soapy hands down to his cock and balls. I wrap one hand around his cock and the other under his balls. I start lathering him up and give his cock a few strokes. He starts growing, and he breathes heavier and heavier. "Oh, Brad, that feels so good."

While I keep rubbing James, he takes the shampoo and begins lathering up my scalp. When he's done, he takes my cock in his hands and begins stroking. I lean my head back and let out a load moan. It had been a long while since someone else had my cock in their hands. I look at James. "Do we have enough time?"

He tilts his head to the side. "I don't want to rush, but if we do it quickly, then yes."

"Got any conditioner?"

James grabs a bottle of conditioner, squirts some in his hands, and hands the bottle to me. I squirt some in my hands, and then we rub it furiously in our hair. Then we return our hands to each other's cock and balls. The conditioner works much better as a lubricant, and James and I start pumping away at the other's shafts faster and faster.

I lean into James and kiss him as we stroke. I tilt my head down to his chest, take his nipple into my mouth, and flick it a few times with my tongue. His moans of pleasure tell me I'm doing a good job. He grabs the back of my head with his hand, brings my face up to meet his, and gives me a big, open-mouthed kiss.

He then drops to his knees. He gives the area between my balls and my inner thigh a few licks while he plays with my balls. He slides his tongue up and down my shaft, then parts his lips and takes all of me inside his mouth. He wraps one hand around my shaft and strokes in rhythm with his mouth as his other hand cups my balls and gives them a few tugs. He sucks me for about a minute or two, then pulls his mouth off and beings stroking me furiously with his hand.

"Oh, God, James, I'm getting close!"

He keeps pumping away, faster and faster, while he squeezes my balls and runs his tongue all around them.

"I'm getting closer! Augh. I think I'm gonna... I'm gonna..."

He pumps, faster than ever, and I reach climax. Ropes of cum fly out of the end of my hard cock and land on his face. He keeps his hand moving along my shaft until the ropes of cum stop, which seems to take forever. I reach my hands under his arms and hoist him up to his feet. He grabs himself with his hand and begins pumping away at his own shaft. I part my lips wide and give him an open-mouthed kiss while I reach one hand under his balls and the other hand around him and lightly finger his asshole. I lick some of my own cum off of his mouth and kiss him again so we can taste my spunk together.

His breathing and stroking accelerate, and his knees almost buckle as his own orgasm begins. He lets out a very loud moan as strings of semen shoot out of his shaft, all landing on my torso. He mashes his face against mine as we kiss. He strokes and strokes until his orgasm subsides. He takes a deep breath, wraps his arms around me, and we kiss again.

We stay in each other's arms until our breathing returns to normal. I break the silence. "That was fucking amazing."

James smiles and laughs. "Yes, it was. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself until I get back in town."

"Well, we better get a move on. Don't want to be late for your flight."

James gives me one more peck, then grabs the soap and lathers it up in his hands underneath the jets of water. "Turn around."

I do as instructed, and he proceeds to rub the soap all over my arms and back. He then steps forward so there is no space between us, and lathers up my chest, torso, and cock and balls. He pulls away and lathers and massages my ass and in-between my ass crack. It feels absolutely fucking wondrous.

He bends down and lathers up each leg, making sure to get me extra squeaky clean. He finishes and stands up. I take the soap from him and do the same. I start by lathering up his chest, paying special attention to his nipples. I work my way down and lather up his cock and balls, still hard, and reach underneath to soap up his ass crack. I kneel and lather up his legs. He turns around, and I lather up his ass and back. He moves underneath the jets of water to rinse off, and then we trade places. As I rinse off the last of the soap, shampoo, and conditioner off of my head and body, he leans in and we kiss each other.

He shuts off the water and we step outside the shower and dry off. We toss our towels in the hamper, then walk back outside to the bedroom. He walks to the closet and grabs the outfit he will wear to the airport and on his plane. I take the clothes from my overnight bag.

He glances at my outfit. "I see you're a briefs guy, too."

"Yeah; I've tried all kinds of underwear, but I like briefs the best. They just do a great job of lifting the boys up and keeping them out of the way of things."

"Well, before you put them on, let me get one last real good look at you." He eyes me up and down and says, "You're one mighty fine man, Mr Palovich."

I walk up to him and reach my arm around to his back. I lean forward so our cocks make contact. "Likewise, Mr Briscoe." I give him a quick peck, then reach for my clothes.

We get dressed and put on shoes. "Do you want me to whip up something real quick before we head out? Waffles maybe?"

"Waffles sound awesome. That won't take long, will it?"

"Nah. I need to wash the dishes from last night, anyway."

We run downstairs and James goes right to work doing the waffles. I check my email on my phone to see if Eric has sent anything for me to look at before I head in for work - nothing. Awesome. Just wait 'til he hears about how my night went.

The waffles are ready to go in no time, and we munch them down pretty quickly. "How about you make sure your bags are all in order; I'll wash up."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

I take his plate and wash it in the sink. James goes over to check his bags. "Everything's all ready."

I walk over to him, and we each grab a bag and walk outside. He locks his door, and we head to his car and load the bags into his trunk.

"My dad is on the way to the airport after I drop you off. Hopefully when I get back you can meet him."

"I'd love that."

He leans in and gives me a kiss. "All right, hop in. Let's get a move on."

We get in his car and he peels onto the street, flying toward Aurora Ave. That kind of thing is easy to do before rush hour.

Finally, it's official, they have consummated the relationship...there's no turning back now. Besides, who in their right mind would want to? You certainly were productive tonight, AG.....:-) I can only imagine what James' return from NY will produce. Brad better get used to hard work during the day and then HARD work in the evening.

Wow! What a gifted writer you are. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading your serial novel and I hope it continues for a very long time. We're so fortunate to be entertained by gifted people such as yourself. Thanks....

That sounded like an awsome shower! After that it is definitely going to be difficult to not see each other for a while. It was definitely a good night for you to write a new section...|

I can definitely relate to missing a place you enjoy being being. I have never been to Seattle, but your story is making it sound pretty enticing. The good thing like you had mentioned before about your desire to move to Seattle is it gives you a positive thing to work towards. :D

Hey guys! I just got done writing Part 25 tonight, but I want to wring it through the proofreader before publishing. I'll get it out by tomorrow afternoon or early evening.

That's Brad's fatal flaw - he knows what he wants, but he's scared of getting hurt, too. There's lots of trepidation going on in his mind. Who knows what he'll decide in the end? One thing is for sure - James's week away will seem to take FOREVER!

Thanks for commenting! I'm glad you've enjoyed the story so far. I do plan to keep writing until I run out of ideas. I hope people like you will keep reading and commenting! One of the big reasons I started writing this story was because so many others here have written stories all of us could read. I just want to pay them back somehow. Hopefully my writing can inspire others to begin and continue their own stories.

A shower is one of the best places for sex - what cleaner fun is there? The upcoming week will be a bit difficult, but all kinds of people dating or in relationships have to be able to survive having a partner be away for some period of time.

I truly did have a great time visiting Seattle, and I look forward to the next time I go there, whether it is to visit or live. I think about it ALL the time. I highly recommend visiting if you get the chance - July, August, and September seem to be the best times to visit with the best, sunniest weather. I take a tiny bit of liberty with my descriptions of the city - I may make the weather seem better than it actually is in real life, so don't believe everything you read. :-)

A good chapter there in part 24 :) .. after that date Brad might be a bit lonely not being able to see James?
Wakeing up next to someone...
and takeing a shower together...
I bet both those would be awesome to experience :)

The 2nd part of that (scared of getting hurt) is like me... one of the many reasons why I don't/can't date LOL

I've been reading another story on here where one of the guy's names is also 'James' - LOL - sometimes I have to go back & read a bit of the previous chapter so I don't get little bits/things crossed between the stories

Agreed on the shower sex! Can't wait to read the next section and see how Brad hadles the time James is in New York.

Definitely could see me visiting Seattle. I enjoy traveling and I think it would be cool to visit Seattle, since I haven't visited that side of the country much. You mentioning the weather, reminds me I believe I have heard it can be kinda rainy and grey for that area, I take it thats probably what you mean by the months you listed as being the sunniest?

I'm proofing! New part should be posted momentarily...

I've always had an interest in traveling as well, but never really got out on any big trips on my own until 2011. When I went to Seattle, I actually drove all the way from Fort Lauderdale, FL. I drove from one ocean almost to the other. The drive itself was awesome - I got to see MUCH more of the country than I thought was out there, and it opened my eyes to the many different regional pockets of culture we have in this country.

The week I was in Seattle, 6/7 days were sunny with no clouds in the sky. It was a very false first impression, as I know usually it is always cloudy with a faint, light drizzle. However I think those three months were the ones with the highest amount of sun. So - best to plan your first visit around that time so you're not disappointed. :-)

Waking up next to someone and taking a shower together definitely IS awesome to experience. And we do those two things pretty much daily. Kind of interesting how something so routine can become such an intimate experience when you do them with someone else.

I do have a tiny fear of getting hurt, too. I have a thick skin, but when I open myself to someone else, I become vulnerable and can get hurt easily. However, even though I've been hurt in the past, I've had some pretty awesome times, and have learned lots along the way. I wouldn't let the fear of getting hurt stop me from dating. I don't think you should let it, either. :-)

I hear what you mean about the story confusion. My protagonist also shares his name with a character from another story on here, Watching Brad, which I started reading years ago and fell in love with. I considered changing the name of my character before I started rewriting from my original screenplay, but I already had a clear picture of the character, and the name was all part of that. I wouldn't want it to cause any problems, though.

Here's the next part! Thanks as always for reading and commenting. It's almost hard to believe I've come this far. But I've got so far to go!

Part 25

While James drives me home, I text Eric: Wanna grab a quick breakfast before work?

Eric texts back: Sure! I'll meet you in front of the office building. We'll go from there.

James turns onto my street. "Almost there."

"I had such a wonderful time last night."

"Me too. Thanks for coming. I enjoyed cooking for you."

"Can you text me before your flight takes off and again when you land?"

"Of course. The time change is going to really screw with me, but I'll try to give you a call tonight as well. I'm not looking forward to being away from you for a week."

We pull up on the street in front of my place.

"Me either. Well, have a safe flight. I'm going to miss you."

"I'll miss you, too. I'll hurry back just as fast as I can."

He lightly squeezes my knee. I lean into him, give him a kiss, and wrap my arms around him and hug him tightly. As we pull away, we kiss one more time.

"Have a great time."

"I will. I'll keep in touch. Have fun at work."

I step out and close the door. James drives off. I unlock my car, get inside, fire it up, and drive to work. On the way, I see an airplane high in the sky. It continues to amaze me how quickly we can cross entire landmasses and oceans.

I pull into my office building's parking garage and walk to the front entrance to meet Eric. We head into the nearby Starbucks and grab a coffee and a quick bite to eat.

"So how was your night last night?"

"Oh. My. God. His place is humongous. He lives just north of Lake Union, and his place has these huge windows that overlook the lake. It's beautiful. He cooked a teriyaki salmon dinner - absolutely delicious - and we just stayed in and I slept over."

"Wow. Sounds like quite the romantic evening!"

"Oh, it was, Eric. It was."

"Are you two official yet?"

"Not yet. I can tell we're moving towards that, but I'm still not totally sure I'm ready. He's being great, though; he's not pressuring or anything."

Eric chuckles. "See? I said you had nothing to worry about. Just take things nice and slow - don't rush into things - and you should be just fine."

"I'm trying."

We finish eating and head back to the office, coffee in hand. As we head up the elevator, James texts: We're boarding now - should be in the air shortly. Can't wait to be back!

I text back: Be safe up there and enjoy the scenery!

Work goes relatively well the rest of the day. We have our individual teams working on segments of the project. We plan to get major parts done and show them to the client to gauge their opinions. That way we can implement any changes they suggest in time to be ready for their deadline.

James texts me in the middle of the day to let me know they landed in St Louis. At the end of work, he still hadn't texted to tell me they landed in New York yet, but he should be getting there pretty soon.

I get home, take off my work clothes, and put on some running shorts. I head out to Volunteer Park to run a few laps and clear my mind. What a great way to start the weekend.

I head back home after working up quite a sweat. I check my phone. James had called just a few minutes ago and left a voicemail. I listen to it, and he tells me they arrived safely in New York. I call him right back.

"Hey Brad. Get my message?"

"Yeah. I was just out running. About to hop in the shower."

"Mmm, now that's an image that could get stuck in my head."

"I bet it could. Anyway, glad to hear you're back on the ground."

"Yep. We had a really long layover in St Louis, which is why I couldn't call you until just now. But yeah, I'm glad we're on the ground, too."

"Do you have anything planned for tonight?"

"Nothing special. Dad and I are going to head to this restaurant on 52nd Street after we check in to our hotel. One of my friends lives in Hell's Kitchen and absolutely loves eating there."

"'Hell's Kitchen?' What kind of person lives in a kitchen?"

James chuckles. "That's just the name of the neighborhood."

"Oh."

"It's a bit weird, I know. We'll probably meet up and have dinner with my friend tonight, then we're gonna get together with Dad's client tomorrow. What about you?"

"I'll take it easy and relax tonight, but tomorrow I'll probably head to the gym for a bit. I'll see if I can get together with Gary and Harry tomorrow night, too. We haven't heard much from each other since New Year's."

"That sounds good. It would be great for you guys to catch up."

"Yep. Anyway, I'll let you be on your way."

"All right. Call me tomorrow when it's good for you. If I'm too busy chatting it up at the party tomorrow, I'll be sure to call you back as soon as I can."

"OK, I will."

"Have a good night, Brad. Enjoy the weekend."

"You too."

We hang up. I walk to the bedroom, take off my sweaty, smelly running clothes, and grab a towel. I head to the bathroom and start the water running in the shower. I think about the romp I had with James this morning, and I feel my cock getting hard. I slide my hand up and down my shaft as I cup my balls with my other hand. I close my eyes and do my best to imagine the scene of us in the shower. I pump faster and faster and feel my orgasm getting closer. I push myself over the edge, and fire off a few long ropes of cum. I take a few seconds to cool down, then shut off the water and dry off.

I cook myself a quick dinner and spend the rest of the night relaxing. I head to bed, and wish very strongly that James was right next to me. I subconsciously grab a pillow and hug it close to my body. I imagine him next to me, in my arms, and drift off to sleep.

Very nice update, can't wait to read the next part! I really like James and Brad together. Looking forward to how you progress with their time apart and when they are finally back together from James trip. I am also anxiously waiting for Brad to answer Erics question of Brad and James being official with a "Yes".

I've always had an interest in traveling as well, but never really got out on any big trips on my own until 2011. When I went to Seattle, I actually drove all the way from Fort Lauderdale, FL. Yeah I have still never traveled by myself, well except work, but never a big trip like what you mentioned. Driving across country like you mentioned is something I have always wanted to do. (How long did that take?) Like you said I think you will get to see a lot more of the country and vastness of it.
When I visited New York I had pretty much the opposite of your trip to Seattle, it rained everyday. I still pretty much walked everywhere and was soaked most of the time, but it was fun and well worth the trip. I actually did a bike tour of Central Park, and it was awesome. While it was raining it was actually pretty warm so the rain felt nice. :-)
Other than the Space Needle, anything that you think is indepenent of Seattle and a must see?

Gary and Harry are good choices for Brad to turn to this week. They'll keep him grounded.... Fortunately they both like James and are pobably wondering what's up.... Aren't memories wonderful? Their shower play can keep him happy for the week also. Great update, AG.
