So new here don't even know how to use this resource. What the hell, time to jump in.
A few nights ago while reading posts on this forum, I was deeply touched by the words of an angel, an amazingly caring and giving person named Marcello who opened his heart to a newcomer who was obviously not in a good place, and who probably hadn't been in a good place for a while. A lot of obvious lonliness!
I followed Marvello's response, then followed a link to his blog. Deeply touched a second time! Realized something special here, far different from anything I've seen before on line, perhaps as special as face to face meetings.
In a hell of a lot of pain myself that night over the loss of my best friend of 25 years. Without thinking, I sent a private message to Marcello, just to let him know I appreciated and was touched and comforted by what he had a say. Truly a unique, caring, loving, giving individual.
Received an even more touching response, strongly encouraging me to get active and post an introduction. When an angel speaks, one tends to follow directions! So here I am. Thank Marcello! I think you may have just guided me home to a place I need so badly right now. And thanks for the gift of friendship.
Yeah, not an upbeat intro, but truth is truth. Hard time right now. Need a new support group! Hope this will be it. Will post more soon.
