Attention Breaking News >> White Smoke

All you people were complaining about the last old man.

This new old man will be worse; the Jesuits are 'the soldiers of the Catholic church'; they did the Inquisition.

(EDIT: Yes Pete. I hope their unpaid charity work will be acknowledged but their mind-control/propaganda work has squashed the lives of millions of gullible, poor people)

:##:

I'm assuming you're EX-Catholic but your vehemence tells me you're still a believer.

Yes, an atheist ex-Catholic.

They have their tendrils in your brain. You won't escape their influence until you're dead.

BTW: the new, old man is a Jesuit and you all know about the Jesuits

I know plenty of ex-religious people from every strain of religion you can think of. I know far fewer ex-white supremists, though. Hint hint. Random smilie face.

I know plenty of ex-religious people from every strain of religion …

Good, but I maintain that ex-protestants are less obsessive and less dogmatic than those poor people who foolishly claim to be Ex Catholic and Ex-Orthodox

… but being a soulless …
So are you saying that having a "soul" is a requirement in 21st century life?

BTW; what is a "soul"?

Good, but I maintain that ex-protestants are less obsessive and less dogmatic than those poor people who foolishly claim to be Ex Catholic and Ex-Orthodox

And this only shows that you have almost no experience of religious people, as fundamentalists are almost overwhelmingly protestant sects, and your garden variety Catholic barely knows the first thing about their own religion in the first place, including the fact that many of them when you ask "Are you Christian?" respond "No, I'm Catholic", apparently not understanding what their religion is. It has been for most people I've ever known just something they were shallowly steeped in culturally growing up, and I'm yet to meet any "fundamentalist Catholics" to compare with the huge number of fundamentalist born-agains or protestants who wield much more political power.

In fact, considering that any topic touching on race or religion is something that you obsessively hover around and obviously have great interest in, you appear to know absolutely jack squat about either of them, and that's a pretty pathetic state for someone who obsesses about the two topics as much as you do.

^ I was talking about the world; you're talking about the USA

I have no reason to believe you know anything about the world either, given your comments about virtually everything. And by the way... your Catholic-always-a-Catholic comment was at Giancarlo-- who is American.

… smoke…

^ Those protestants don't have smoke, incense, statues of near-nude Jesuses, theatricality, guilt-tripping, ornate blah, blah and all that stuff to impress the gullible.

BTW: where is Roly and his Soul?

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. You need to watch "Jesus Camp."

Well atheists and agnostics don't believe it. And protestants have other ways to brainwash gullible trolls. They are called religious preachers demanding MONEY MONEY MONEY!

They don;t do that in South America and the Phillipines where the Propaganda Machine Church is burgeoning.

(I hope this thread won't disappear like that last thread where your wounds of hypocrisy were exposed)

Phillippines has a substantial Muslim population, and both areas have plenty of moderates, agnostics and atheists as well. I'd say Catholocism in much of Latin America is more cultural/traditional than it is fanatical or zealous. The same is true of much of Italy and formerly Catholic Europe.

But I'd love to know what you base these conclusions on. Being in Australia and all, and living around so many Latin Americans.

Show us the pictures of the bloody Philipino Jesus in the streets

The pope would like that. The propaganda has seeped into their cultural traditions. They can't escape now. MInd Control for the Poor.

Where is Roly to tell us about his soul????

Oh, sorry, I assumed you were trolling, not that you actually are unfamiliar with the concept of abstract descriptors.

Let me be helpful: "Soulless" was used in the non-religious context, often found in literature, meaning "cold, calculating, devoid of compassion or kindness" :)
