As a lifelong Packer fan, the Brett Favre saga just keeps spiraling out of control. The more Brett Favre tries to stick it to the Packers, the less I respect the once legendary Packer QB. Also, the more I love Aaron Rodgers, for handling all the Favre drama so well last summer.

I don't like to wish bad things on anyone, but I hope Favre is a colossal failure in Minnesota.

Go Pack!

If his showing in his first pre-season game is any indication (1 pass completion out of 4; 4 yards!!!) he won't last long in Minneapolis. This on-going Favre drama is really getting old. There is even a television commercial where he is buying a plasma TV and keeps vacillating about the purchase. He should have stopped when he was still a respected NFL legend.

The thing that it comes down to is he does
not give a fuck what you think. He is still going to
play football for money and because he
loves the sport. So everyone needs to stop crying
about the fact that he plays for the Vikings and realize
that what he is doing is amazing. Taking a horrible team
and making them one of the best teams in the NFL at his age is amazing.

Favre is not enough to save the vikings anyway.. I consider their current standings just a fluke.

The Vikings were already a playoff contender for the 2009 season without Favre. Now having him as their QB there is no telling how far they will go . I am not a Viking nor a Packer fan but I must say if Favre can stay healthy I can see them clinching their division and making it well into the playoffs. That being said , I for one am getting tired of Favres antics on and off the field. It doesnt just start with his --- I am retiring - no i am not retiring routine . Some of the comments he has made as of late such as the current 2009 Vikings is the best team he has played on, is a slap in the face to the 1996 Green Bay Pakers team in which he won a super bowl with. Then you have Favre who couldnt stand to look at the missed field goal attempt by Baltimore to beat the Vikings so he covered his face as if the roar from the crowd didnt give it away. It will be interesting to see what happens when he returns this Sunday to Lambeau Field. How the Green Bay faithful will treat him , how the Packers will treat him , and who will come out the winner Favre or Rodgers.

favre isnt a traitor he just went to somebody who wanted him
