I think he should sue them for wrongful termination. Hot guys should be encouraged to work and show off their bodies.
 
I agree Snickers, but my impression is "hunky" is a very masculine heterosexual connotation of being "cute" and attractive. It fits best because the guy works in construction, another stereotyped profession of being strictly masculine.
 
Well if you base "hunky" on cuteness and attractiveness I guess he'd be considered hunky. I've always considered hunky to mean well muscled, strapping, and sexy looks.
