Britney is a attention whore. Plain and simple. With the recent death of Anna Nicole Smith, Britney knew she had to do something drastic to grab the headlines again. Little does she know it backfired as this new look is an improvement compared to the rats nest she had going on!
 
what the hell is wrong with your guys.. i know this is a free country and a free board and your free to voice your own opinions, but jesus give the girl a break... so she shaved her head, big deal.. none of you know her, you just know of her threw media.. and the media is a fucked up resource.. she probably had a reason to do so too, and i doubt it was to get the attention back from Anna Nicole Smith, that was a pretty harsh statement, i think.. so if you really do think your better then her, then go on with the bashing, but lets be serious, you dont know her...

Yeah, I'm sure she had a good reason. Just as she did when she felt compelled to shave her pussy and flash it to the world. Yeah, she deserves a break from all this attention. :rolleyes:

Really, who cares what Britney does any more? It's a new game in Hollywood. Posh has come to town with her hubby, baby. Britney and Paris and all the other publicity whores are going to have to quit their softball stunts and start swinging for the fences!
 
People need to chill & give the girl a break...

She seems to have some trouble in her private life and she reportedly just checked into some rehab center in L.A. I wish her and her kids the best. She deserves it, she's a good girl ;)

And yeah, people do mistakes. Sometimes we all forget that celebs are human beings like we are.
 
She is a complete wreck. Im actually feeling sorry for her.
 
I love Britney as much as the next fag, but come on!! This bitch has not only fallen off her rocker, she rolled off the porch. She's turning into one of those trailer park moms. The only thing she lacks now are a few rotten teeth and a job as a stripper. Think about the kids people. Think about the kids.....
 
Britney is obviouly in a lot of pain and needs some help right now. I know that most people look at the situation and like to make fun of her. Right now, I feel sorry for her. I know the girl is super rich but it goes to show you that she is not happy and money can't by that. She is early in her 20's just coming out of a failed marriage to a person we can only presume she felt like was the love of her life. Add to that two children back to back, probably some post pardum depression mixed in with some good old fashion depression plus the constant attack of the media. Have we not escaped to a bottle of our favorite Vodka martine. We are lucky at times that we do not have to go through this. We have pain, we go through it, we feel alone after break ups, we feel like we just lost everything that was important to us, we feel like we want to crawl into a hole and not be seen for a while. Can you imagine how it would feel having every second of your life documented by people that you don't know? I would hate for someone with this much talent to be sent to a place for seriously ill people because people enjoy hurting her more. It just boils down to people are people, don't kick them when they are at their lowest. Look what happened to Anna Nicole. No one deserves that. I will get off my soap box now.

cause she brings it upon herself. she knows shes a famous person and that whatever she does will be under a microscope. if she doesnt want to be followed or talked about then she should stay home

She does want to be followed and talked about. If she didn't want to be, she would get out of Hollywood and go live somewhere to raise her children where the media wasn't up her ass 24/7.

But the reality is most celebrities, as much as they'll "complain" about paparazzi--they purposely bring the attention to themselves. Half of this stuff is planned by publicists.

I don't understand that our acceptance has come so far, yet Britney shaving her head is front page news.

If Brad Pitt shaved his head would it be a big deal? No... but it would if he wore a gown to the Oscars.
 
It's not just the fact that she shaved her head, it's the manner in which it was done, and all the events leading up to it.

Natalie Portman shaved her head a while back. It didn't really create a furor, people just thought "Whoa", and moved on. Then they realized she was doing it for a movie role. But it wasn't a big deal. Why? She didn't shave her head IN PUBLIC...and she wasn't having a life of public downward spiral beforehand.
 
Oh, I'm sorry I didn't realize she stood in the middle of the street and asked the camera crews to follow her around and invade her privacy.

I'm not saying she hasn't done a lot in the past few months... but to suggest that she invited the cameras is insane. She was in a closed beauty parlor after hours. Celebrities are surrounded by cameras all the time, I think they learn to adapt and forget that they're even there.

It's like if you go bald, you know your bald, but you don't think about it all time time. You're JUST BALD.
