Britney's Performance at VMA's

I really wanted her to do well but man it was painful to watch. She looked pretty good and the song was good except it would have been nice if she had actually been singing the song. She looked so bored. It seemed like she couldn't be bothered to even lipsync. And the dancing was really terrible. Honestly, she just looked extremely uncomfortable and scared on stage. I really wish she had done better. What do you guys think?

let's see...let's focus on the good things. the people who produced her track are talented. the set designers are talented. the dancers were talented. wish we could've seen them more.

Well she did look good, no one can deny that. She got her cuteness back. The song was cool but the performance looked exactly like those mini concerts she had a few months back.


Rihanna's performance was so awesome though and she looked damn good :) I love her so much. Monster single of the year :) Grammys here we come (!)

Oh yea I was expecting more, cuz when she used to perform for the vmas she always rocked. This time though it was all meh. :(

It was really bad...I had hope that it might be OK, but yeah, it was not so great. I actually started laughing a little. She didn't look interested at all...her dancing was more like forced simple movement. And of course the lip synching took away any chance of a great live vocal. Go back to your kids, wise up, and be a good mom.

I guess it is safe to say she isn't coming back anytime soon. I think she should disapear for 3 or 4 years. Until her children are in kindergarten and her hair grows back, and gets back in shape then make a come back. People will have relatively forgotten her screw ups, and she can make a real comeback.

BRITNEY SPEARS is so LAME! Even the die-hard queens who STILL think she is special can't keeping fooling themselves.
First, she was lip-synching (again) and not even trying. Her hairweave looked dirty and she is clearly too out of shape for that outfit.
Her "choreography" was a joke. Like a bad high school talent show. I can't believe MTV was stupid enough to hype this second-rate lap dancer as the "big opening act". What a bomb.
Oh and by the way, the song totally SUCKED!!! :badgrin:

It just felt like she didn't want to be there, she was bored, and would've preferred to be doing something else. She put no effort into the dancing, the dancers themselves were good but Britney, no.

So much for a comeback.

Oh my god what the hell happen she was so out of it. I was exited but after this I'm done with her. Oh Sarah Silverman was a total CUNT.

As long as the VMAs serve up something - ANYTHING - that people will talk about, they can be considered a success.

Three threads about this on JUB already. I'd say the show is a resounding success.

Embarrassing. From start to finish. The lip syncing was atrocious. She barely even moved.
