Sarah Silverman was a douche last night. So not funny. I just don't like her. I was iffy about her prior to this but her stupid "jokes" put me over the edge. I am no Britney fan so I wasn't bothered by her last night at all. I did think she looked good. Nice to see some meat on her bones. Super thin girls are gross. Hopefully this will send a message to girls it's okay not to be a size 0.

Britney threatened to ditch her VMA performance just minutes before she took the stage. Want to know why? Britney overheard Sarah Silverman rehearsing her monologue in which she calls Britney's babies mistakes and takes jab after jab at Britney.
Britney made it very clear with MTV that Sarah was NOT allowed to talk about her kids, and MTV agreed. That big-mouthed bitch said it anyway.
Sam Lufti was overheard backstage screaming at Sarah Silverman because of her outrageous remarks saying: "Sarah Silverman is a seriously unprofessional person to make fun of infants to get a laugh. Making fun of kids is not condonable," and that "she should have picked on someone her own size."
Perhaps this why Britney looked upset during her performance. Britney was seen backstage in Alli's arms crying about how cruel people can be to her babies.
While it is Silverman's job to get a laugh, it should not be at the expense of little babies. Your career must be hurting if you have to turn to bashing infants in order to gain a laugh. You'll get what's yours.
Britney Spears was to perform under the magic of Chris Angel... but MTV freaked out at the last minute finding out what Britney was actually going to do.
Supposidly, what Britney and Chris were planning was to do a set of mirrors and flotation. But when told to the Palms Hotel/Casino... the hotel flipped.
Insurance was the main problem, and the stage couldn't support the performance. MTV also freaked at the last minute because of their fear of being "too controversial" during the performance. Britney and Chris were infact furious with MTV's sad excuse and told Britney to change the performance at the last minute.
Britney's original performance was to infact appear and disappear. To float through the air... and for much mature dancing

Aside from how badly she looked, the biggest sin was the lip synching. I have no respect for any musical "artist" that lip synchs live (or even recorded live) performances. And MTV allows this sort of thing? Did they think she was recording a music video where you'd expect this kind of shit? I can't really lose any more respect for MTV, as they hit rock bottom years ago.

Wow. That was possibly worse than the Ashlee Simpson lipsynching debacle.
I mean, yeah, she was clearly lipsyching, and yeah, the outifit wasn't flattering, but it's the fact that she didn't even look like she cared, especially at the beginning. And she looked really drunk/drugged at certain parts...creepy.
The best part of that video though was when the camera panned to the audiences expressions. Priceless. Everyone's just looking at her with a big "WTF?" on their faces.

I knew she had no chance of a come back. The only thing to officially end her career is for Jive to drop her from the record label.
Queens, give up on your tenacious belief that this girl has any chance of coming back. I have seen drunk girls at a party lip sync and dance better than her.
So she may have had a good career in the past. That's nice. As much as we may like to root (or barrack for you Aussie folk) for Britney, when the game is a blowout, you cut your losses and move on. She should do the same.

Well Im not going to let one crappy performance out-weigh the hundreds of amazing performances she has had in the past. Everyone is acting like this is the nail in the coffin, but honeslty it's just one bad performance. It's not like she has done this over and over again. Im sure she will be fine.
