And Britney was great on Ryan Seacrest this morning. It was nice to finally hear her doing a promotional interview again. I really hope she does more.

"Til the World Ends" is growing on me, I still like HIAM more, but I really do like the energy and vibe of the song.

iTunes is really fucking up with this single. It's not charting even though her album presales are #4, which is AMAZING. But it's killing promotion that could be very helpful

Seriously. The leak+itunes glitches+not being prepared for radio really fucked this song over. I'm pretty pissed about it because she could have had 3 consecutive number ones but because of the leak and the rush release it's not getting the attention it was going to get from original launch. The radios have been playing it since yesterday but mediabase has only started counting the spins from 6:30 tonight which is also bullshit. This is seriously fucked up.

The song was supposed to debut on March 14th but it leaked and Jive embraced it so they rushed released the Itunes debut within hours...hence the glitches and uncertain numbers

It's fucking ridiculous. It got leaked thursday afternoon and so britney's team pushed up the release date, which was supposed to be March 11 and decided to release to radio friday morning when brit did the ryan seacrest show. BUT radio stations started playing it thursday afternoon and it was getting a hell lot of spins BUT mediabase didn't start counting spins until yesterday at 6:30 pm..WTF. Now, iTunes fucked up because the single was included with the preorder of the album and so the single wouldn't chart on itunes until last night losing many many opportunities for people to see it was even available on itunes...24 hours it was available and no one knew it because of no promotion on itunes...giving people opportunities to download the song illegally. It FINALLY shows up last night around 6 I think a day late when the illegal links spread virally. The whole situation is fucked and Britney fans are pissed. The leak+itunes not getting their shit together ruined the opening sales for this song in turn ruining Britney's opportunity for her 3rd consecutive #1 debut.

It's that all of the female pop stars have the same writers/producers and everything sounds exactly the same.'Till the World Ends could be a Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Rihanna or Britney Spears song. It doesn't matter who sings it, which makes it inherently generic.
It's not a bad song. But it's forgettable. And the chorus, where she sounds like a stuttering robot undergoing mechanical malfunction, has got to go.

The leaking had everything to do with it. It wasn't supposed to be released for another week. It had problems getting onto itunes fast enough and promotion was thrown off because of it too. So yes, the leak had a lot to do with it.

I love ever snippet i've heard of the album from soundcloud, and "till the world ends" has been on an unhealthy repeat since friday mornings purchase. My favorite snippet being "How I Roll".
But I went to pre-order the deluxe album after I bought the single and it won't let me. Saying i've already bought it, and when I go to re-purchase it, it says not available in the U.S. Anyone else with this problem?
