Britney's back!

Sources tell Us Weekly that Britney Spears is heading to Las Vegas this weekend to perform live at Sunday's 2011 Billboard Music Awards.

PHOTOS: 29 years of Britney

The 29-year-old pop star will take the stage two times.

Spears will do one performance -- potentially the opening number -- with Rihanna, 23. The duo will perform Rihanna's hit song "S&M."

Spears will also be performing for the first time ever with Nicki Minaj, 26. Spears and Minaj will partner up for a remix of Spears' hit "Till The World Ends."

Minaj first met Spears in April. Later that month, Spears confirmed on her website that Minaj would be joining her Femme Fatale tour this summer.

"I'm obviously honored to be out with Britney," Minaj told Us of the tour. "She's freakin' paved the way for so many things right now in pop culture. I'm excited to be on with her."

So what will Spears' return to the live television be like? "It's gonna be big," a source says. "People will definitely be talking about it the next day."

The 2011 Billboard Music Awards air Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.

I'm sorry but Britney's presence (and during Rihanna's performance) was lackluster and pretty sad. I was like "No she didn't come out with a mic in her hand and lipped the chorus". It was also weird her trying to have fun during the pillow fight but it looked forced and awkward. I think its time to retire.

Sadly, I agree. Yeah, I feel sad for her when I watch her perform these days. She is barely doing anything at all...just very simple moves and she doesn't even look into it. I be waiting for her to do some hot and fancy leg work like something like what she USED to be able to do but she never does...just always keeps it simple and just-barely moving lol. And the pillow fight did look awkward for her and forced. She just doesn't seem totally "there" or looks like she just lost her fire. :(

...and that's way sad, because she's still young..

Oh whatever. I don't care that much anymore. I'll still enjoy her music no matter what. The S&M performance was ok, I'm not blaming Britney for the awkward pillow fight because the dancers, Rihanna, Britney, everyone included looked awkward. They're on poles and then having a pillow fight? Whoever came up with that idea is at fault there. Not spectacular but it'll do. TTWE was bull.

Now on the other hand I did not feel the TTWE performance...it was just sad to watch :(

Thanks Josh for taking time out of your Born This Way album listening marathon to come over to the Brit thread to kick us while we're down. We get it. She's not the performer she once was and probably never will be. Don't need everyone to keep rubbing it in. Chris Crocker is annoying as fuck but he has points. I want her to be happy and if she isn't happy onstage then yes get off the stage. I'll support her forever and always no matter what she does. I'm just glad it wasn't VMA 2007. She looked beautiful and was smiling.

You never...ever....ever post in this thread. So you chose to post in it when we all know Britney didn't give a great performance last night and then claim no shade? Don't think so. Not buying that bull.
