Re: Why was Britney Spears' life so disastrous?

You can down to your city's soup kitchen or charity shop and meet lots of people who are struggling. You can even donate if you wish; you don't have to donate money to a Californian Bimbo Billionairess.

everytime I think of a sprogg I think of you.

Re: Why was Britney Spears' life so disastrous?

Her mom was never her manager, Larry Rudolph was since she was 13, Britney worked with her label in getting where she reached, she wanted to take the clothes off, she agreed with them in everything (videos, music, image, she knew they wanted her to be a global business and she allowed it because she wanted it too), there are reports of Britney pulling her clothes off in photoshoots against the outrage or her manager.

When fame was too much for her, she couldn't get out of it, the label didn't allow it and her allies became their enemies, her same record label put "Cry me a river" out and sent JT to talk about her private life to boost his career, they forced her to go on tour and do interviews when she didn't want to, That's the naivety I'm talking about, she used to think they were on her side, and then she made a bunch of horrid decisions.

I didnt know that. Im surprised how cruel can be someone just for the money and fame.

Re: Why was Britney Spears' life so disastrous?

Seeing the title of this thread made me think she had died or something.

Re: Why was Britney Spears' life so disastrous?

It isn't. Just a life that got played out in public.

Re: Why was Britney Spears' life so disastrous?

She was exploited her entire life and raised in a trailer park trash upbringing. Even her sister got preggo at 16.

She does have some talent and looks (though she's losing them), but I don't consider her a real artist or singer, rather just an entertainer / puppet.

Re: Why was Britney Spears' life so disastrous?

C'mon guys, does anyone really care?

Re: Why was Britney Spears' life so disastrous?

I never liked her, to be honest I really hated her, she polluted my youth with terrible music, but I have to say that at some point it was painful even for me to see everybody laughing about her, it was sad. And when she came back people was still laughing because she was fat or had a silly choreography instead of applauding her for having courage to fight her way back. I still don't like her, but I respect her a bit more, and after all, she is still loaded with money so now that she is better she can actually enjoy it.

Re: Why was Britney Spears' life so disastrous?

Her celebrity life isn't the reason for her breakdown... but it did make it worse.

She must have a serious mental disease to legally loose her self-control for so many years.

I don't like the whole "she's rich and famous so you shouldn't feel sorry for her". Celebrities are humans too and they can have hardships just like anyone else. I have empathy for anyone who has to deal with a serious mental disorder, famous or not.

I'm fine with people not liking her music/work but she hasn't done anything to deserve hatred. She's actually known as one of the sweetest celebrities in the business.

Re: The Official BRITNEY SPEARS Discussion Thread!

I hope its true that she wants to be a tv star now. I will watch it every single week :)

2013= New Album and a new show...YES!

Re: The Official BRITNEY SPEARS Discussion Thread!

Ehhhmmm she's negotiating to have a Las Vegas show for 2 years.

Re: The Official BRITNEY SPEARS Discussion Thread!

A lot of changes within the last couple of months for Brit-Brit. Her not returning for another season of The X-Factor (:gogirl:), her rumored 2 year+ Las Vegas residency (#-o), and her continued success on the music charts [STRIKE]with will.I.am[/STRIKE] makes this girl the undisputed Princess of Pop. :=D:

Being single has never looked better on her, and I'm ready for album #8. Hoping for an album more Velvet Rope and a lot less trip down pop-dustep lane. She's been there, and blazed that trail, already.

Re: The Official BRITNEY SPEARS Discussion Thread!

The rumors right now are that it won't be a dance album.

I wish Vocalney and hope they will use less vocal effects this time.

Re: The Official BRITNEY SPEARS Discussion Thread!

^I've been reading that as well, I would like a more personal, vocally driven album too. Not expecting vocal gymnastics but songs like "Everyday" and "Strangest Love" is the over all vibe I would like: introspective lyrics and/or atmospheric music.

The remix for "Scream and Shout" is crazy because it sounds like a mix-tape. Word is all the leading pop stars are trying to stir clear of EDM this time around, here is Britney & co (seemingly ahead of the trend) with this remix.

I doubt that Britney or her team had any say in the remix as it is not her song. It is Will I Am's song from his upcoming album.
