Pretty much every singer who works with big producers has gotten the auto-tune treatment. Mostly it's done to save time, the singer doesn't have to do as many takes.

You are kidding yourself if you think power-vocalists like Christina, Mariah or Celine don't use autotune.

Plus many producers who have worked with Britney have said she's a good studio vocalist and that she doesn't have to do many takes and they don't have to use a lot of autotune.

You like most people think every single computer vocal effect is "auto tune". Auto tune isn't what gives you that "robotic sound"... plenty of songs sound pretty natural and still have auto tune.

Britney has a sweet voice perfect for pop. It's also unique and one of the most recognizable voices in the world. I don't give a fuck that it's not a powerhouse type of vocals... it would get pretty boring to only listen to those type of vocals.

You have every right to your opinion but I still think people are too critical and judgmental when it comes to Britney compared to many of her peers.

Plus she has always been pretty honest about what she does and has never tried to come off as something else. Singers like Beyonce and Christina are often pretentious and arrogant while Britney is humble.
