Charging upwards of $125 and performing a 15-minute set isn't really the best way to show you're working your way back up. But at least she appears heading in a positive direction.

Britney's E! True Hollywood story is going on right now. I must have watched it 20 times already but i still love it. They changed the ending to include the Toxic Grammy win. The saddest part of her story was when she lost Best New Artist. I always hate that part of the story. Yes Christina can belt it and hit all kind if notes, but at that time in 1999, Britney was the best. I still remember my shock and horror when her named wasn't called. Even if Macy Gray won i would have been ok with it. Ah well whats done is done.


Apparently TLC was offered Baby One More Time, but didn't take it.

I love how they documented her rise to pop stardum.

she lip synched 5 songs. even then she looked like she was second guessing herself on the dance moves......i hope this is not her huge comeback

I am watching her E! Hollywood story :).

The grammy part is over they are talking about second album and her pepsi commercial.

They said that she was lip syncing, but they said people don't go to a Britney concert to hear her hit the high note they go to see the whole package. Brit is an overall entertainer.

Now they are talking about Crossroads and the snake performance.

She was lip syncing to her records. What's the point of that? If I wanna see some drunken mess lip sync to Britney Spears records I'll take in a drag show at Hamburger Mary's for free.
 
Leave Britney alone, y'all! You can't both sing and do all that crazy choreography. You can't do them both at once.

I was a little disappointed though...I was hoping for new songs or something. Maybe she could try a show without the wig on...or those ugly ass boots. Whatever. I'll always love Brit.

I love me some Britney but these House of Blues concert reports are very distrubing.

Last night was worst according to insiders.

Britney needs to shape up if she is serious about getting back on top.
 
I love Britney, and I think she's amazing. Her music rocks, and you know something... everyone has known she lip syncs, so what... don't bitch about it. If you don't like it don't pay attention to it. She is a performer... she does just that.

Besides, if you like her CD, at least you know it's going to sound just as good and no one is going to fuck it up!
 
I really hate when performers lip-sync. I just don't get the point. If you can't sing live (or choose not to) then just dance. Don't insult me by trying to make it look like you are singing. It's better that I just know that I can continue to buy Britney Spears' CD's and don't need to see her live.

Why the hell is she still lipsynching? It's time for her to realize being "shocking" is not ALL about taking off clothes. Yeah, we get it, you got your body back, good for you. You shaved your head and checked into rehab - you could obviously do better things with your music than lipsynch to old songs and dance half naked.

Do you have any links to other reviews actually praising that mess? Not just articles about the concert, but actual critical reviews.

I can't honestly see how someone would enjoy 15 minutes of lip synching, unless they were told they were coming to a high school talent show.
