I really do not think u can fake talent and personality.. I think Britney may not be the best singer or dancer or actress, and now maybe not the most attractive star out there.. but she has this extra special that makes her who she is.. I do not want to deviate from the topic, but Britney is a force to be reckon with. And an american icon, whether you like it or not...

Yeah it's called the full backing of the Disney Corporation and Jive Records.
She was a cute girl with a decent voice who go lucky enough to fall into the right hands because miss "I think we should just trust our president in every decision that he makes and we should just support that" clearly got nowhere on her talent or skills seeing as you yourself said she's neither an exceptional singer nor a dancer nor actress. Which IS the talent part and as for the personality you're right she doesn't fake that either.... she's pure hick.

People are so ignorant... Britney Spears (talent or NOT) was one of the MOST if not MOST successful artists of the 90s. She's sold well over 80 million albums world wide and she's broken many world records. She's THE ONLY female artist to have 5 top charting albums... She's done amazingly well in such a short period of time. People need to give her credit where it's deserved...

Since when does being successful make someone an artist? In fact the VAST majority of artist throughout history were grossly underappreciated in their day.
Case and point the following:
1) The "Saw" movie franchise is one of the most successful horror franchises in history. In fact it's well on the verge of being one of the top grossing horror franchises of all time, Saw II set a record of the largest Halloween weekend opening and Saw III promptly broke that record the following year. Saw III was single handedly responsible for giving Lion's Gate it's top grossing weekend in box office history. The franchise has been able to keep audience coming back with incredible frequency pulling in much large profits off it's sequels than the Halloween series or Friday the 13th.
It is also... nothing more than torture porn whose quality is rapidly degenerating as each film the characters become more vapid, the traps more gorey and less suspensful. In conclusion yeah it's garnered commercial success but... it sucks.... much like....
2) Ann Coulter- an "author" who has hit the New York Times Best Seller list six out of six times. She has gained natoinally noteriety and appeared as a political "expert" or "pundint" on MSNBC, CNN, and FOX News. She's consistently pulled in strong numbers for her publishers (please don't make me look for them... I'll be so disgusted by them I'll need to lay down for a while) and is undoubtedly found success in the world of writing.
She is also... a hate-mongering shrew-bitch who has shown no inkling of compassion or political awareness in any of her incepid misinformed books.
So only on the day that the Saw franchise becomes cinematic masterpiece and Ann Coulter becomes a vertiable political genius will anything you said matter.
There is no way I am respecting a woman who thinks people are traveling through time and has the political philosophy of "just do what you're told" simply because she's the mouth piece for a corporation that is churning out a brand of bland formulaic pop music.
