The Pop Princess's latest album 'Blackout', is expected to debut at number one on the U.S. Billboard Top 200 Albums next week. That will let Spears to break her own record again by becoming the first female artist in SoundScan history to have her first five studio albums debut at number-one. (She previously set the record for her 2003 number-one album In The Zone). According to Billboard, the album sold about 125,000 copies on its first day.

The lead single from the album- 'Gimme More' has reached the top 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Britney's record label Jive is ready to release the next single 'Break The Ice' (produced by Nate Hills), which is expected to hit the airwaves in mid-November.

This is messed up.

I have to go and confirm this for myself because it makes no sense as Piece of Me is in the top 10 on itunes so why not just go with it.


The Piece of Me video could be so huge.

I said they could use Jamie-Lyn to protray Britney when she was 17, but then i just thought of something better well not better but another option.

Since Britney might not wanna give it her all they could just keep it real and show actual clips from her past when she was 17 and really miss American queen doing all the interviews and everyone loving her.

Then gradually show how things got crazy with all the paparazzi following her everywhere. Then when she says, "Extra extra this just in" show a clip of her on the TV show Extra.


That could work too.


Break The Ice is ok for the album but it really isnt single material.
 
Ya She should of went with piece of Me, hopefully that will be her next single tho, im really pushing for heaven on earth to be released as a single
 
Yeah that's not a very good choice for a second single, but I hope Heaven on Earth is 3rd.

its premiering on radio mid-nov. the video prob wond come out till beg - mid dec.

but see piece of me isnt the best song on the album but see the lyrics are controversial & its giving people what they want right now... her side!

so thats why i think it will get a lot of attenion

& she can do soo much for the video .. like Danugh said
 
I like Break the Ice a lot... but I seriously hope they give it an awesome video... not a quickie like Gimme More. Break the Ice deservs a good video, and so does Piece of Me.
 
I keep hearing this backup vocal that kept chanting 'Piece of Me', and the female voice sounded like Madonna. Am I the only one, or was that really Madonna?

Wrong. WorldOfBritney.com , the biggest Britney fan site is reporting it is Peice Of Me and they also have the cd single cover.
 
I'm ok with Break The Ice or Piece Of Me, hopefully Toy Solider will never be a single, that song gives me a headache.

the lyrics are very controversial & i bet there will be alot of threads for the video & the song
 
i could see piece of me or radar being HUGEEEEEEEEE! especially radar because the lyrics both catch and memorable.
 
I hope piece of me is the next single as its hands down the best thing on the album... I think Toy Soilder and Heaven On earth should also be singles.
 
Kiss 108 here in Boston has been playing Piece Of Me...and I heard Freakshow on XM Radios U-Pop channel
 
I love Piece of Me. I love the way she ran her voice up and down, like she is so carefree. Can't help to link that song.. you know.. stronger, faster, harder... the one Kanye copied.
 
i get really happy every time i read a good new about Brit, because im pissed off with all the bad publicity that every1 is always doing to her!!!!!!!!
 
I really like Piece of me. I just added it to my ipod the other day and it's constantly on. I def hate Radar tho.
