Bah. I definitely don't french kiss my best friend, but we're extremely affectionate and very emotionally open guys when it comes to each other. We just click on some pretty fucking extraordinary level and we both know it's beyond the norm.

The best friend I'm talking about above, dude, he too totally has an awesome bromance with his dad. Their relationship is pretty freaking incredible.
 
I'm a guys guy but I'm gay. The problem I have is that I still crave male companionship (platonic) yet at the same time I want to talk about fucking guys and guys I like with straight guys. It's really hard to do but I crave that in a social bromance crowd.

Dude, don't give up hope. It's possible. One of my oldest friends is gay. He'll get tix for a basketball game and I'll discuss the game, but he'll make comment about how hot the players are lol. We are totally platonic and it works. A few of my straight buds have close gay friends. They don't give a shit.
 
I have a best bud with whom I have gone skinny dipping, to nudist camps, and on vacations together, just the two of us. We have never had any sexual contact though.

So, yes I believe in bromance.

I feel what you're saying...None of my long-time Straight Friends know that I'm Bisexual or even suspects. I know so much about them even some of their "secrets" but I havent shared the one thing about myself that I no longer feel is a "secret". I do have an out-of-state Bi-Bud that I dated a couple of years back, along with a couple of local Bi-Buds that I hang out with in my Life. We talk about any & everything...No Bromance situation with my Straight or Bi-Buds..I've fooled around with my Bi-Buds though but we still respect each other once we leave the bedroom...:lol:...

I'm in the market for a gay bromance:-). I don't know what it is, but I really like "straight-acting" (for lack of a better term) gay men because they still enjoy masculine things, but without the alpha machismo and competition which I dislike.

Instead of "Dude let's go to the bar to get some pussy" it's like "I want to go to this bar with you because I want to hang out and have fun with you."

My dad & I didn't have the best relationship (to put it mildly) for most of my life, but we've gotten pretty close since he came out to me. I'm living at his house at the moment, and we're more like really close friends than father & son. It's a bit like the Golden Girls, actually. lol I know way more about his sexual proclivities that I ever thought I'd want to.
 
Any of my good straight friends don't give a shit if I talk about my sex life or my attractions, and that's how it should be. They talk about girls and straight sex and I talk about guys and gay sex. If it grosses your friend out, they're just closed-minded and insecure (and maybe secretly intrigued). Seriously. It's never been a problem for me.
