Brothers & Sisters <> Season 2

Maybe Danny Glover will go back to South America visit his buddy......

If Nora moved, then the whole premise of the meddling mom/needy kids would be gone. The kids complain about Nora interfering , but cant live their lives without her it seems.
Scotty has been signed on as a regular for next season, so that should be good news for his and Kevins relationship.

I think this is the first episode ever where I liked Tommy as a character. That entrance to Nora and Isaac's dinner was hilarious.

But grrr.... it looks like Scotty and Kevin are going to last then... there goes Rev. Boyfriend.

as much as my anticipation for scotty/kevin's wedding, i'm getting grossed out by rebecca/justin story. even though they are not truely related, but still they have the same father/step-father. and so far rebecca is treated as a walker. aghhh

okay... even now that entire Rebecca paternity is kinda revealed, I'm still kinda grossed out if Justin and Rebecca ever get together. Don't know why... it's just weird.

Oy, just caught up with all the episodes since January. I'm so glad I'm back into this show.

Add me to the list of eww Justin and Rebecca. I hope it turns out that there was some sort of mix up with the DNA or something...I liked Rebecca as a Walker.

If the writers have her retain her position in the Walker family as Justin's girlfriend rather than a Walker sibling I will be seriously ill.

ETA: Oh yeah, it makes me really uncomfortable when Ohi (sp?) is in trouble. I think it has something to do with the present economy. I just don't want to hear anything more about struggling business/dire business situations when watching TV. We already hear enough of that on the news. Hopefully that storyline is resolved soon.

I agree. We're supposed to see the two of them as brother and sister from the get go and now, boom! They're a couple? Major grossnees ensues. It's just, kind of ...wrong somehow...Unfortunately, because I read the spoilers, I really have no more interest in seeing this show. I enjoyed Rebecca's "Odd one out" as far as the siblings go. She offered an outsiders look into their world, now she sees this theough the eyes of a girlfriend? Don't we have the other wives, bfs, and gfs for that? Seriously, it's ruined the show for me. Maybe at some other point when I'm totally bored I'll check out the episodes I missed, but as far as right now, I'd rather not see another episode. Sigh! I so did love Brother and Sisters....

^If you didn't see tonight's episode, you missed two of the quietest and most beautiful gay moments ever seen on television.

Season finale ? aleady?

So Kevin is the top.

Rebecca was a BITCH to her mother and Holly should have smacked her something good.

I am glad Justin told her to shove off.

I like Holly she did what she had to do in order to secure the best possible life for her ungrateful Bitch of a daughter.

I didnt like Saul's coming out. The actor didnt deliver the line in a believable manner.

i'm 50/50 on the Holly/Rebecca thing. i know Holly felt like she was doing what was best for her kid, but i can also understand Rebecca's anger. growing up without a father. then finding out you have this whole other family, who once you finally start to fit in with you find out their actually NOT. i do think she could try being a little more understanding towards Holly though.

i think Justin was a little harsh reacting the way he did. yes it was wrong that Rebecca lied to him, but how could he NOT understand her motivation to do so.

Saul's story really kinda gets to me though, lately i've been feeling like i'm gonna end up in the exact same position he's in. i turn 30 in 2 months, and yes i know that's not old by any means, but i feel like i pretty much wasted my teens and 20's pretending to be something i wasn't. i think alot of us can relate to that though.

Scotty and Kevin are just ADORABLE together. for the most part i've HATED Kevin's character but i think Scotty really brings out the best in him. i miss seeing Eric Winter's sexy ass, but i'm rooting for K&S though.

The Kevin-Scotty proposal was sentimental and funny, very cute.

Also important in terms of the steps that TV encourages about gay acceptance.

Not to make more of it than it was and there have been other examples, but it's not that long ago that two guys kissing, let alone proposing marriage, on a main TV channel would have whipped up all kinds of homophobic crap.

Obviously, you can argue that TV should be more aggressively pro-gay and that there still aren't enough gay characters on TV (there aren't), but the more of this kind of routine acceptance of gay relationships the better.

Just saw last Sunday's episode on abc.com. (It's been a busy week for me.)

Mathew Rhys just stole the whole show!

I hope he submits this episode for the best supporting actor award for an Emmy. He truly deserves it.

That was the best proposal, gay or straight, I've ever see on TV.

And his scene at the end with Saul was so touching. Not to mention telling off Sarah (even if it did turn out to be undeserved) and "reasoning" with Justin about Rebecca.

And I'm still loving Patty Wettig, even though Holly is a scheming bitch. You just know the Walkers are really going to slam her this week.

To me this is best episode of the series so far. (!):=D:Watched the proposal scene 3 times and cried..it was soo unexpected, toching and romantic...

Keep up the good work ABC

It's particularly ironic, when you consider the fact, that ABC forced the creators of "thirtysomething" to edit out a gay kiss twenty years ago, because the advertisers threatened to pull out.

Some strides have been made, it seems.

Though it's still pretty much unacceptable to show two gay men in bed kissing or cuddling, even though there are plenty of scenes of straight people doing that.

God I already miss this show....great season finale....can't wait for next season and to find out who Ryan is!

I KNOW!!!

The ONLY character I don't like on that show is Kitty, but I think it's more to do with Calista Flockhart than anything. She plays the SAME character in every show she's been in, and it's tiresome.

I loved when Saul came in and blurted out him being gay and Justin said "this is the gayest week of my life." Definitely a laugh out loud moment.

I am sad the season is over. This is one of the best written shows on TV and I look forward to it each week, much as I did with "The West Wing".
