Brothers & Sisters season 4

So Kitty gets sick, and:

Sarah cuts her vacation (and hot hook-up) short.

Tommy sends flowers.

Is there really any question why no one likes Tommy? I read somewhere "Tommy found himself in Mexico; he found that he was a jerk." HA!

Scotty is full of shit.

If she was such a close friend then why wasnt she at his wedding?

Well it looks like that will be the last of Tommy....hopefully.

honestly not feeling this season...nothing all that exciting is happening...I haven't made a connection with any of the storylines this season yet.

That ending was beautiful. I almost shed a tear. It was overly dramatic though because i do not know any husband who wouldn't be supportive of their cancer wife losing all her hair. So Kitty should have known it would not have been a big deal.

I hate how Kevin and Scotty have the exact same fight every single episode. God Scotty, have you even met Kevin before? Of course Kevin is going to be all type-A; that's who he is, for Pete's sake. You'd think Scotty might try to figure out how to help Kevin be less stressed-out and up-tight all the time, but no, Scotty does what he does best and throws tantrums. Arg!

The scene between Kevin and Saul was great, though.

I also cannot believe how clueless Sarah was about the wine label. Wanting her French beau to get a plan (regarding the Visa) is one thing, but asking him to do his art for money is a big deal. Lots of artists would rather flip burgers than "sell out." Regardless of how you feel about such idealism, calling someone's passion "naive" is a pretty good way to get punched in the face. How can Sarah not know that?

And Rebecca's ridiculous antics continue to astound. Just tell him! All this mooning about is pathetic.

Holly's crap wino wine turns out to be fantastic, just in time for Ryan to sabotage it in the stupidest subplot of all time. Aside from the fact that it doesn't make any sense, it's completely boring.

I think its hilarious that Sarah finds a great guy who is obviously wild about her .... who gets along well with the kids ... and right away she feels like she needs to change him. Classic.

Anyone else feel like there was not nearly enough wine on the floor to constitute the potential financial recovery for Ohi? I mean, it looked like less than 1 truckload.

Yeah. The wine was dirt cheap -- it won the table wine category, after all. So if it was supposed to single-handedly save Ojai, they'd have to sell it by the cubic acre. That little puddle in the basement shouldn't have put even a small dent in their inventory.

I love this show, and hate all of the people but the mother.

Scotty will be the reason I blow my brains out one day.

Jesus holy God christ he gets SO bothered by EVERYTHING kevin does it makes me physically sick. Every episode is

Kevin: *Speaks/moves/breathes*

Scotty: Storms out

Kevin: I'm sorry for not understanding

Scotty: No I'm sorry for not understanding

I dont fucking understand why one of them is not getting it. I know relationships have misunderstanding and is 90% of the reason there are fights but the same ones? Really?

Dont even get me started on the contract that Scotty and his horse faced thunder cunt of a friend made such a big deal about it. Grow the fuck up

What the fuck is Kevin doing with him? Seriously, the sex must be awesome in a relationship like that because all scotty does is run away in every scene, even when kevin is not involved.

Sorry, I try to say good things about people that actually exist so when I have a change to be a bitch and be negative about fictional characters. I try really hard to get it out while I can.

Love the show :)

I have to agree with that. In fact I have frequently had a reaction that the show is now written to be a comedy.

"she doesn't even know if she wants it"

"wants what"

The writers messed up.

Nora should not have said "wants what" she should have said something like, "but she has to have it" and then Kitty should have said "well yes she is going to have it but she hasnt even told Justin that she is pregnant yet"

Also why does Kevin care that Scottys sperm has faster swimmers.

Did Kevin forget that his sperm was faster than Justins ?

But it doesn't matter whose sperm is faster just as long as the sperm can finish the race because since Justin got Rebbecca pregnant it means his slow sperm works.

this season is just dragginggggggggg...

it has good storylines, but they aren't carried out the best they could be.

I'm finding myself more interested in reading posts here during the show than keeping an eye on the tv...

hope it picks up before this show gets cancelled...great actors, good eye candy, excellent Sally Fields...come on...pick it up!!!!

So why isn't Sarah in the loop at Ojai anymore? She's the President of the company, yet the only people concerned about the wine sabotage are Holly and Saul.

I guess it's par for the course, since she has so few responsibilities that she can hop over to France to get herself a nice French boy toy.

It's just as well, since I hate all the business plots anyway.

The bachelor party was just dumb. Kevin: my guess is that shouting at the top of your lungs is going to make Justin more likely to continue drinking, not less. Also, why the hell are they taking him to a bar in the first place? Oh yeah, 'cause Justin relapsing is in the script. Bleh.

I can't read any of this thread because I've only just started watching Season 1!

Since, yesterday, haha.. But I've got the boxset and I've been watching it all day, lol! Will grab Season 2 & 3 when I can! Really enjoying it so far! :D ..|

God...that was an annoying episode. I kept on shouting at Justin, "Well at least she's not failing Med School!". I can't believe he never even told her, it would have been the perfect time. I just wished he would just drop it. His grades were 3 Ds, an F, and a C-. You are not cut out for Med School Justin!

Yeah, at least not yet. This whole plot line has been stupid. Why is he in this accelerated program? His family's got money, so there is no real reason to hurry up or anything. Someone with his background especially should take a nice leisurely stroll through undergrad, and if he can do that, maybe think about med school.

This show used to be such a gem. However, after watching it yesterday i got this cancellation vibe. B&S has lost the season one magic.

I know that it got picked up for another season but i think its best to just end before things get unwatchable.

^^^ - And I think that they are going to start phasing out Calista Flockheart and Rob Lowe, or at least give them less screen time.

But I agree...the show has lost its magic. I find myself becoming very annoyed with Justin/Rebecca. And the storyline of this guy who used to be business partners with William and wants to buy out Ojai Foods is just downright boring. Why are they dragging it out the whole season? It isn't that exciting.

I hope they don't ruin Nora by revealing that she had an affair with the man because she looked very shady when Holly asked her if she knew him as if she was hiding something scandalous.
