Brothers & Sisters season 4

Interesting comment from another site:

Narrow Lake is an anagram for Nora Walker.

I hope they don't ruin Nora by revealing that she had an affair with the man because she looked very shady when Holly asked her if she knew him as if she was hiding something scandalous.

I was thinking the same thing.

The last episode was a complete snore to me. I don't care if Kitty is a senator. I really don't care about the ancient scandals of Ojai Foods. I think Justin and Rebecca both flunked Kindergarten, and the only reason they made it to first grade was that William Walker wrote a big check.

Frankly, the only thing that kept my interest was the return of Luc. Gilles Marini is so hot. I just heard that he'll be on Dancing with the Stars; he might be enough to actually get me to watch.

I'd have to agree, this show has lost it's charm....the last few times it's been on has been a snore....it's like on what once a month now it seems?

I wouldn't be surprised if it is cancelled soon. Too Bad...this show was awesome it's first two seasons!

I like this show! There's so much going on with each character it keeps you watching. I'm glad they brought Gilles Marini back. What beautiful eye candy! Especially now that Rob Lowe is leaving the show for his own show and phasing out Calista Flockhart from the show.
I hope this show stays on the air for a long time.
This show has more of a storyline than Desperate Housewives.
Sally Field really makes this show great!

Well i am glad they never made Nora an adulterer.

Kevin is such an asshole; Aaron was hot and masculine and he paralyzed him. What a jerk. Its one thing to deny you are gay but if someone you find attractive was putting the moves on you why on earth would you react that way.

And then he had the nerve to give Nora attitude? He was the one that messed up.

Although I love this show, I have to say tonight's two hour show was long and drawn out. Not much happened. Other than Kevin being a jerk. The secret that he paralyzed Aaron when he was younger. I'm glad to finally see Justin and Rebecca marry. I hope the secret about Narrow Lake is not just an anagram for Norah Walker. I hope it's resolved and revealed on next week's episode. But something tells me that it will be revealed on the final episode as a cliff hanger for next season. Rob Lowe isn't coming back next season, I wonder how they are going to write him off the show?

I agree... this was a dud of an episode. If there was any question B&S has became a campy nighttime soap opera comparable to its daytime counterparts, this just proved them wrong. Everything seem so contrived and out of left field when it came to the plots. Hopefully Kevin rehashing his initially reaction to being gay will expand a little and not left alone. Violent behavior is a very common reaction for gay teens when confronted about their sexuality.

Other than that, Matthew Rhys pulled in a great performance during the 1st hour during his confrontation and realization of what happened and the casting for younger Sarah and Tommy were spot on... especially Tommy. Whoever played him moves and talks exactly like Balthazar Getty.

Also, wow... did they drop the character of Ryan Lafferty or what?

Anyone catch it when Justin and Rebecca got married? The Justice of the Peace said "now I pronounce you spouse and spouse".

They totally blew the impact of the whole flashback revelation with the ridiculous stealing of the bad guy's car. The contrived humor made a mess of the whole two hours, and I actually found it kind of insulting. They completely missed what should have been some powerful moments between Kevin and Scotty, instead letting Kitty be the one to comfort him when he broke down. Scotty just seems to be there to clutch his pearls and gasp or look sweetly nauseous at the family antics.

Sally and Matthew stood out as far as performances last night, but the best dialogue actually went to Aaron as an adult when he gave Kevin a reality check.

There's a lot I like about this show, but it's wearing really thin.

Something seems off. Where is the continuity from last week....i feel like i missed an episode. Why are they selling Ojai?

I have to agree with another poster....did they drop Ryan or what?

This season is just strange. Whats with that guy from Williams past, and whats with this Narrow Lake thing. William was going to build a house there? WTF?!?

Well tonight's episode was pretty good....not as good as old episodes...but at least we've put the Narrow Lake thing to rest.

Next weeks season finale will hopefully be good...though the preview said a WALKER won't make it out alive....that would lead you to believe that Nora, Tommy, Kevin, Sarah, Kitty or Justin die...but we all know that it's going to be Robert....so do we think that Robert and someone else dies?

It's not going to be Kitty or Sarah because the producers have already talked about their storylines for next season...they would NEVER kill off Nora...I would hate if Kevin or Justin died.....so that leaves Tommy who I don't give two shits about...so goodbye Robert and Tommy?

The show was blah blah blah tonight.

Then Scotty sang.

Beautiful.

How did they put the Narrow Lake thing to rest? There is still the unanswered question of why that guy was willing fork over a lot of cash for the company because of this property. Doesn't make any sense. If this is how they wrap up that storyline, it has to go down as one of the worst plots ever.

Did I hear right? In the previews, did they say one Walker won't return? It looked like it was Kitty in the crash with other people. Hopefully it is Justin! Sorry but his character has just been annoying the living hell out of me for a while now.

yeah I guess It isn't put to rest....I guess I just want it to be over...lol

Justin may be driving you crazy...but he's the only good looking guy on the show...lol...I would hate to lose him

True. Justin might be the only good looking guy. But every episode is just about him being a prima donna. Always complaining, always whining. Whining about med school, whining about his family, etc. It just getting old, and to the point where I want to fast forward through his scenes. ha ha.

I love this show. However, am I the only one that thought it was verrrrrrrry strange that scotty started to sing? It was just so weird. Maybe if the vocals were just in the background but he actually broke out and started to sing in the middle of the show. Very awkward. However, I am glad we are over narrow lake and I really am tired of justin. I love Rebecca I like how she handled Justin about going to Haiti.

The Scotty song could be construed as "atmosphere of the moment" rather it actually taking place. Kind of a like a song playing in the background, when there really is not a radio playing. It was a tone setter, rather than a "reality" during the family drink. I liked the song. It was nice. I like Scotty and feel he is underused much of the time.

Too much was made of the Narrow Lake for it to be dropped that easily.

Hate that they are killing off Rob Lowe's character.

Justin should have a bit more stability by this time. Too flighty.

Liked Kitty's toast to "capitalism".

I just caught up with the show. I haven't had a chance to watch it since the Luke visa issue episode.

First off, I absolutely hate the Kevin/Aaron incident. Hate it. I know the whole purpose of the show is to provoke emotion from the viewers, but that was just horrible. Taking something that started so sweet and touching and turning into something so terrible just made the show and Kevin's character less enjoyable to watch and even carried over to the following episodes. I know it sometimes happens in real life, but whatever, I don't want to see it.

I thought the cranky grandma's delusional confession of Nora's good parenting skills was a nice touch.

How many times is Justin going to freak out? I'm so sick of it. And I don't think he's attractive at all.

I agree with people saying that it felt like an episode was missing between last night and the week before. I even checked imdb to see if I had missed one in between. They were drilling in Narrow Lake and using Rebecca's money to stay afloat at one minute, then all of the sudden with no warning, they are at a meeting announcing the close. It made no sense.

Random Observation: Saul had a picture of the actors that played young Sarah and young Kitty in the flashback episode on his desk during one of Paige's recordings.

Holly's resume consists of being an actress for like 30 years, a couple years as a CEO to a failed company, and now she's wildly overqualified for all these super competitive business positions?

I'll miss Ojai
