Brothers & Sisters Season 5

I read yesterday that ABC may do a mini season for the show next year.

Six to eighteen episodes...Sally Field is shooting a movie and would only be in a few episodes and Calista Flockhart's involvement would be limited as well.
 
I'm ready for them to end it if Sally Field and Calista aren't going to be a major part of the show. Thats 2 main characters. It wouldn't be the same :(
 
it was very good for the first two sseasons an the writing went down after rob lowe left! im sadden by this but will they do a final episode because the last episode was called season finale right?

Nope.

The plug has been pulled for good.

I kind of figured when Sally Field did that little voice over at the end of Sunday night's show that that would be "all she wrote".

And as it turns out, it was.

You have to think when they shot the season finale they kinda sexpected it would actualy be the series finale. No cliffhangers, no unresolved issues just everyne happy and story lines brought to an end. All that was missing in that last scene of everyone dancing was a superimposed title reading
"And they all lived happily afterafter"

It was time to go it had a good run but was beginning to, what is it they say, jump the shark?
Good they had the sense to end it before it became the same drek that is "Desperate Housewives"
 
^Yeah I hadn't contemplated that the show was ending until it seemed everything was resolved.

I loved this show, but I have to say it lost its steam a bit when Holly and Rebecca left. I think they should probably quit whilst they're ahead and not make another season. But I will miss the show!
 
I gave up on the show midway through this past season.
The story lines just planked and once Justin and Rebecca split, then I knew I was done with it.
Oh well "/ I'll miss Nora.
 
I'm not surprised that it's been cancelled to be honest. It was actually the only show I loyally watched every week up until season 5 when I missed every single episode. I'll probably rent it on DVD.

Well I dont know I think the best season was #2
