Brussels attacked, where should the US invade next?

What, you mean after the 1990's gulf war during the Bush years?

You are exactly right, and of course Benvolio doesn't need to understand any history that doesn't fit his agenda that he shares with other [Text: Removed]. Bin Laden declared Jihad on the USA after the Saudis refused his military protection in lieu of having America protect the holy lands of Mecca. This was when Saddam Hussien invaded Kuwait and the fear was he would move on into Saudi Arabia.

Some how Bush and chief Dick Head Cheney convinced the air pocket brains of Americans that Saddam Hussien and Bin Laden were buddies working together to destroy America. Fact was that religious cave dwelling fanatic Bin Laden would have loved to carve Hussien into rotting pieces of raw meat. There was no love for the Secular western influenced dictator Saddam Hussien.

It was amazing that The Bush Administration could convince other elected officials and a major part of the population that Iraq held a powerful military without ever showing it. They never showed any huge military machine in Iraq. I could see more with Google Earth then they used to convince the need for a war. The reason was there was no huge Iraqi military infrastructure.
Bush #1 blew the shit out what was left of the aged Russian military supplied Iraqi army as they fled Kuwait on what is well known as the "Highway to Hell" tour. After the war there was absolutely no way to rebuild any military force such as Iraq had built during the Iranian war with the greatest help of the USA.

Poppy stopped after that. He didn't go all the way in. But Saddam said some crap about Poppy that pissed of Georgie the lesser. Georgie had designs on taking out Saddam before he even got to the White House. So Georgie was butthurt and because of that and the wishes of the neocons (look up PNAC), he went all the way in. And as a result, IS was born.

I am not sure what you mean. If you are talking about America then you have it wrong. The part of North America now known as the United States was invaded by Spain, Britain, & France. I can think of no other Countries that the United States invaded with England, and Spain.

Uh, you know what he meant, and I suspect that is a reference to Afghanistan.

Well maybe Spain wasn't particularly participatory in the invasion itself, but Iraq was decided by trilateral agreement between the US, UK and Spain (plus coalition of the willing).

I think most of us are surprised to hear of a three party agreement with Spain. It seems unlikely.

Okay, well my memory is sketchy. I remember the US, UK and Spain coming together to defend the Iraq War at least. Google searching tells me troops were all American, British, Australian, and Polish, until Spain sent some at a later date.

Since all the attackers in Brussels and Paris where born and bred in Belgium and France, just like all the attackers in London where British, the USA does not need to invade anything. European countries have to get better at monitoring hate groups. Our secret services need to get their act together. Literally, in fact, because the problem is one of cooperation. They do not exchange information as much as they should. Paris is only 80 minutes from Brussels by train and four hours by car, but the terrorists knew the French would not be watching them there.

In Belgium it's even worse: the place you and I would call Brussels (the capital district) is less than 65 square miles in area but divided between 19 municipalities of which Molenbeek is one. When I was a kid, the local cops had become so laughably incompetent that a great reform was held. Today, there are "only" six police zones in Brussels. These are still not up to standard. That's why the attackers at Brussels airport could live in Brussels without any inconveniences: the six zones do not cooperate well enough with each other, let alone with the suburbs. Brussels airport, you see, is actually a few miles outside Brussels, which to the local burocracy is like LA and Tijuana.

Why should there be posts?

What is left to say?

This thread wasn't about the attack in Brussels. It posed a specific question.. as a front for an 'attack Hillary' agenda.

Not responding to a sterile thread with more off-topic and irrelevant posts isn't the same thing as not giving a damn.
