Come at me winter. I've been wanting to try out my snow tires. :D

It should be a nice break from the rain too.... Unless it gets really cold, but not cold enough for it to turn into snow....like some winters in Oregon](*,)

I feel bad for you guys, and I really hope it doesn't come true, for your sake!

I remember a winter a couple of years ago (last winter was mild here, with quite a lot of rain), where we had like between -10 and -20 degrees C every day. It was -25 degrees C on the coldest day. I had to wear layers with clothes, and just walking outside felt like hell :(

It was so cold my Bic lighter froze in mid-flame, and I was afraid to put it back in my pocket because when the flame would melt in the bus it would set fire to my coat.

But you woulda been warm. ..|

I hate winter so much in New Jersey. On top of seasonal depression and weight gain from not getting out of bed, I have a 50 mile commute to be at school in the morning. Snow seriously scares me with the commute, and I only drive a little kia rio, so light I will surely die if I get in an accident. I wish I could just hybernate until march :(

After living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for 20+ years, I've seen enough Winter to last me two lifetimes.

When 18 inch water mains are freezing and they are buried 16 feet deep, now that's COLD.

Not too worried about this upcoming one. :D

But you should wait for a bus at midnight, when it's 35 below (C or F) in a wind that makes it feel like 50 below, that doesn't show up for 90 minutes because the cold killed two in a row. :grrr:

What you're describing is Siberian cold. Even for a husky Russian bear like myself that kind of cold is too cold.

I don't mind snow (once its late enough in the year that trees have dropped leaves) plus while its actually falling its kinda cool to watch.

But i hate cold - especially once it gets below 10*F
