when im cleaning my ass lately i can feel bumps when i sticka finger up there. no pain or anything like that though, do hemorrhoids hurt or could it be that? strange.........

If they're inside the rectum, it could be anal warts, which could mean you have anal HPV. They also appear outside.

My suggestion would be go to the doctor and have it looked at, or a free health department. If you do have HPV, it's not a huge deal. Though it is spread from genital-to-genital contact (in this case it would be penis-to-ass). I had anal warts when I was about 19 and they lasted for about a year and half before going away on their own.

Wart-causing HPV is not deadly and isn't known to cause any other problems. Most people with a decent immune system clear the virus naturally. But in the mean time, no barebacking (which I'm guessing is how you got them in the first place) or your partner may get infected with HPV too.

Have to agree with last couple of posts, though for your own peace of mind get a check-up done, cause if it is Anal warts then you could have got any number of infections without knowing it .
Defo a quick visit to the clinic fella even just for your own peace of mind.
Good luck hopefully will just be piles but better safe than sorry dude take care

hum strange. ill check it out, though I've never barebacked so i am not really worried.

If they don't hurt then it's anal HPV. keep your immune system up. the bumps will go away and your body will reject the virus in about a year or two.
If they get too uncomfortable you can have a doctor remove them (either freezing or surgically). No BB sex during this period.
and let this be a good lesson for you!!!
Good luck. don't worry. you will live :)

How can you give such a positive diagnosis on a post without even seeing the guy? That is if you are even a doctor the post above yours the guy says he has never barebacked, anyone with medical training knows not to diagnose anything on a post the best you can do is offer advice.
Just an afterthought piles do not always cause pain this can depend on the position of the bumps Bowel movements ect.

I agree with Medic. Go to the doctor. No one can say for sure what you have from your post, they are just possible ailments you might want to discuss with the doctor. It could be nothing. I wrote in another post about how I once had a bump I was concerned could be cancer. It turned out to be a pimple (the dermatologist just popped it). I never get sick, so when something unusual happens to my body, I tend to get a little more alarmed than is necessary.

How easy is it to get HPV without barebacking?
Am a bit confused as to how you come to this conclusion unless it is lack of handwashing or other bad hygiene.
HPV as it implys is a virus like HIV which using a condom will stop person to person transmission unless there is a tear in the condom.
Which is why guys are told to stop and check that the condom has no tears especialy if it is a long session or not enough lube is used.
Not having a go fella just curious where you got that info from?

if you just look around a bit at the resources freely available, whether from the net or from health workers and organisations, you will read that HPV is transmitted from skin to skin contact. also it can be in the skin without any warts .. so if you or he jerks his HPV infected dick and you or he fingers you - voilà HPV in your anus.

doesn't need to happen. but can happen.

This is another one of those "theoretical" areas. There is a population of people who have HPV who shed virus from their skin. They are able to transmit HPV by skin to skin contact.

So...in theory... if you frot with a guy who has genital HPV, you could get anal HPV from the frottage.

But most of the time, when a dick touches an asshole, it's not just frottage.

And most of the time, when an HPV transmission occurs resulting in anal or rectal HPV, it's because there wasn't a condom on the dick.

From the description that the OP has given, it sounds like a trip to doctor is in order for a definitive diagnosis. The history doesn't really fit HPV and it's hard to tell from the description whether he's feeling hemorrhoids around the anal sphincter or whether it's just normal tissue.

Thanks corny for raising those points and you are very correct that is why in
my post i did raise the issue of bad hygiene and handwashing.
Sometimes guys forget me included just how easy it is to pick something up.
Also i was curious as to where the other poster got his info as you know some
countries tend to fund their sexual health educational responsibilities better than others. I think that we in the UK,Germany the States or most 1st World countries
are luckier than most, but as i am sure you know no matter what at the end of the
day it like most things boils down to money.
Hope you had a good new year. ..|
