bush or no bush, that is the question

Had grown out my bush pre-pandemic. even let the shaft get kinda hairy. my wife wanted to know what it was like

decided to go smooth. i had never shaved my bush before. not sure what i like more, bush or no bush

Exactly, to each his (or his partner's) likes/dislikes. I've always been naturally less hairy so I prefer smooth all over: chest, pits, cock, balls ass. My legs have never been hairy.

It's really a matter of personal taste. If your wife prefers you without a Bush, and you don't mind, then shave. If you find your bush is too bushy (like a lawn that's never been mowed), trimming with a trimmer is a great compromise to shaving it all off. There are some guys who get waxed (yes, there are hair salons that do it) but you've got to enjoy severe pain to do that. Personally, I can't stand to see a guy without pubes. I don't see what's so sexy about a man who looks like he never hit puberty.
There is one serious downside to shaving off your bush: when it grows back the hairs are pointy and sharp until they've grown to certain length. I did shave off my pubes with a battery powered trimmer one night when after my boyfriend at rhd time dared me to for $100. I was drunk, normally I never would've done it. Well, when I woke the next morning and looked in the mirror I hated the way it looked. Then when it started to grow back it was extremely uncomfortable and scratchy.

This is my personal opinion, of course, but I totally think that it's a symbol of masculinity that women are subconsciously pushing to de-masculate.

God gave man pubic hair for a reason, and HE doesn't make mistakes (as the gay community likes to lecture homophobic straights). You can't pick and choose, although, if you have a wife, that's a horse of a different color.

But "properly trimmed"?? This has only been a concept since 1998, when men stated shaving their bodies to show their muscle development. (The gay community NEVER did this until around the same time. Suddenly, the narcissistic urge to show every striation in the muscle groups took over.) A bit prissy, to my mind.

Up until then, it was never a cultural dictate. Boys develop pubic hair at 13. i like the look - and smell - of bush. I find shaving ugly. "Plucked-chicken look," I call it. But then, that's the viewpoint of most men born before 1970. You'd never see a guy with shaved pubes. Or anything else, for that matter, unless he was a competing bodybuilder. Those were the ONLY guys who shaved. And they HAD TO. I was once part of that group, but I was smooth anyway, so it was not an issue for me. Outside of the BBs, nobody shaved their crotch - not in the US, anyway.
