What a full few days!

Horrific tornadoes in the US southeast.

A Royal wedding.

Osama bin Laden killed.

Anyone else on information overload?

Yes, an awful lot seems to have happened in the past week or so.

I wonder if there ever has been a day in history where NOTHING of significance occured anywhere in the world?

the canadian election is getting even less international coverage than usual because of this. it's our one chance every few years to actually be paid attention to, and osama had to go and ruin it :(

Well, I was following the Canadian elections.

And I was pleased by the results.

I don't recall ever seeing any coverage of the Canadian election - ever - Federal, or otherwise. I am ashamed to say, I can't even name the current Canadian PM without using Wikipedia...

...I suspect it's the same with Aussie elections, as far as Canada is concerned. Frankly, most Aussies don't pay attention to the Australian elections themselves. Haha.

:D
