YAY.

I finally canceled my premium subscription.

I've been getting charged for like 4 months now.

All of a sudden my account goes


"LOLZ Gay.com has sneakily snatched xxx amount of money from your bank account. Have a good day."

You can't cancel the premium on gay.com. You actually have to say you want to cancel it, they give you another free month, and than once the free month ends they say you need to call or email to cancel your premium membership. It's pacific time too. But as soon as I got to the operator he immediately asked "Hi, what is your screen name?"

At least they know what you want and get right to the point. So now no more charges. I think it's really stupid for a personals site to charge you every month for their subscription and NOT have an option to not renew automatically. And it's even stupider to have to call to cancel but I suppose what's done is done.

Anyways just wondering if people know what site I'm talking about and if they have had premium memberships before and canceled. Either that or forgot to cancel >.>

And I just realized that everyone should be familiar with this site. Oops.
 
I miss the old gay.com

The new one is kinda meh-ish.

I used it mostly when I was in NC and I'd talk to people in all parts there.

I guess it really depends on your area. I don't care for the Atlanta Chatroom whatsoever. Seeing private pictures is okay but I guess that doesn't really matter to me anymore. It's not a bad site. Better than alot out there. But I just don't think it's worth being premium. There are some sites that are worth it though.
 
What is stupid is paying a monthly subscription to a personals site.
 
It depends.

Silverdaddies was needed because you could only send 2 messages a day. What a pain in the ass. Viewing pictures was nice too.

I really like the paid portion of recon too. Being able to see the private pictures. I definately think OutPersonals was a waste though.

Silverdaddies doesn't have any use for me now though.

There are some sites where it is necessary to pay for a membership to even be able to get some use out of it. There are also some where you can function fine without paying but it's nice to get the benefits.

And there are some FREE sites where you don't need to pay for anything.
 
The best part of gay.com is the chat.

Its hard to find a good chat box on sites. And you can see one picture at least.

It just seemed that the chat was the only good thing. Trying to message someone outside of chat never worked. But than again it ALL depends on your area. The site cannot be blamed for the guys in the area you live in.

Ha really. Well I was told today, "OMG wtf are you doing on here this is a hook up site it's all about sex"

I guess everyone has their own view. 4 a month? What the hell was I doing paying 20 bucks..

I forget if it's 4 dollars everytime or if that's just for the first month.
 
At $4 a month it ain't bad but there seems to be a lot of back stabbing and drama in the room I am forced to use

I thought that manhunt was more of a sex site but I've heard people say it's primarily social.

I hate the new gay.com. The only system worked fine! I dont know why they needed to change it. Their premium membership is over priced, and not worth it.
 
I hate the layout to gay.com so I always used manhunt.

The quality of guys on either site aren't that great though. Actually, that's EVERY hook up site. There might be a few diamonds in the ruff but the majority of guys on these sites don't do anything for me.
 
Gay.com? Oh, I remember that one... from YEARS ago. Sucked back then, does so now. I still have an account there, but that's 'cause they refuse to cancel it (and I refuse to call). It's set to private without any information anyway, so meh.

The profile sites I'm a member of are bear411 (which sucks), bearwww (which is meh) and gayromeo (which I do like).
