I had never heard of gay.com before.
Is it something like the gaydar website? I have a free account there but, apart from a few messages every now & then, nothing much has happened so far.

It's a hook up site, just like manhunt, adam4adam, bear411, etc.

You will find a few profiles on these sites that are looking for "just friends" or dating but I'd say about 90% of the users are looking for sex.

Adam4Adam seems to have a bigger ethnic variety but I see most of the same guys in my area on all these sites across the board. They're all pretty lame. Out of 100 profiles, I'll find maybe one or two that I'd actually consider meeting.

I've never tried adultfriendfinder. Anyone know about that one?

I don't think that's too hard to believe really. Myspace lets you search for people in your area and narrow it down by sexuality, age, race, etc. so it's not that much different from the hook up sites. It's actually a lot more personal.

The only thing about myspace is guys can't really be closeted and try to pick up guys on there. Unless you're out, it probably won't do you any good but that eliminates all the headless shots and cropped dick photos. When I did a search for gays or bi guys in my area though they are mostly all queens. I guess I live in a homophobic state.
